| Pros | Moisturizes the skin very well |
|---|---|
| Cons | Broke my forehead out |
| Bottom line | I wouldn't take this again only for the fact that my forehead NEVER breaks out and after I started taking this, it started getting little tiny bumps all over it. But it does keep my skin really moisturized. I used to have real dry cheeks, but since I started taking it they have become a lot softer. But I'm quitting this. |

| Pros | When applied topically makes skin soft |
|---|---|
| Cons | Didn't help breakouts at all |
| Bottom line | I started using this because I read stuff online about it helping breakouts. I've always had breakous but for the past 6 months they have been a lot worse, mainly in the jawline/cheek/chin area. My acne hasn't improved at all since ive started taking primrose oil about 5 months ago. I had a dematologist prescribe me Monodox, epiduo, and clyndamicine three weeks ago and my skin hasn't gotten too much better. So yesterday I decided maybe its the primrose oil making me breakout so I decided to stop using it completely. |

| Pros | Reduces Inflammation May clear scarring Soft, glowing skin Easy to take |
|---|---|
| Cons | None so far |
| Bottom line | I've only been taking this for a couple of days, but after the first time I used it I woke up and my skin seemed to be glowing, soft, and it reduced the size and inflammation of any present blemishes. It's very easy to take and is worth the price. Other people say this helps with hormone related acne, but even if yours is not hormone related, then it could still help, especially with inflammation. In my opinion, this definitely tops using fish or flaxseed oil. I took a 500mg dosage in combination with an Aloe Vera Herbal Supplement, Acidophilus (Probiotic - aids in digestion to remove toxins in the body), and One A Day Multivitamin to give my body all of the key nutrients that it needs incase I did not get enough that day. Aloe Vera is commonly known for its healing properties, so it's worth trying. Acidophilus aids in digestion, which results in removing toxins and waste from the body. Toxins and waste are a definite source of inflammation and break outs. I take these all in a row at night time within an hour before going to bed. Taking them at night is definitely helpful in making sure your body is healing and clean after everything you did or ate that day. Also make sure to drink a lot of water. This is an often suggested tip, but it's a key part of flushing out all of the waste in your body and staying hydrated. I rated this a 4/5 as of right now because I'm reviewing this after my first use, so I'm hoping for the best. |

| Pros | Clears skin, treats hormonal and cystic acne, softens skin, No more acne! |
|---|---|
| Cons | None! |
| Bottom line | Anyone suffering from acne try evening primrose oil. I suffered with acne for 10 years and 2 months after taking this I have been acne free! I never thought my skin would be so clear and look so good. It helps with terrible cystic acne as well as hormonal acne. For exceptionally clear skin use apple cider vinegar as a topical treatment to skin along with taking evening primrose oil capsules twice daily. Evening primrose oil and apple cider vinegar together do wonders! |

| Pros | Reduces inflamation of the pimple Softens skin Heals scars Less hormonal breakouts Moisturuzes dry skin very well Doesn't clog pores |
|---|---|
| Cons | None i can think off, maybe just a little bit messy to apply |
| Bottom line | This beautiful oil saved my skin, and made a 90% + improvement on the skin on my face. I have a dry sensitive skin with an oily T-zone. My skin is gettin clearer day by day and my face is glowing like never before. I take 3x1000 mg of EPO within three seperated meals a day (EPO works best when consumed with E vitamin rich foods) , and usually apply EPO on my skin in the morning and before bed (cleansed skin). I'm also noticiing an improvement on my hair which seem thicker then before. At this rate my skin will become clear 99% . I strongly recomend to give EPO a try! |

| Pros | Makes skin softer Lessens hormone related breakouts considerably Makes hair look better Strengthens nails Helps calm down aggravated moods during that time of the month |
|---|---|
| Cons | Does not get rid of or prevent all spots Does not dramatically fade all old scars |
| Bottom line | I've been taking this in oral capsules at a dosage of 1000mg once a day for about a month. Initially I was using it only to control my PMS which happens very severely as a result of another condition that I have. I have however seen a slight improvement in my overall skin condition which has been affected badly by imbalances in hormones. Breakout occur less frequently now although the severity of the acne does not seem to have lessened significantly when it does appear. The texture of my skin (where it has not been affected by acne) appears to have improved vastly and is much smoother in texture and less oily. Overall this may be a good addition to your diet for your general health and PMS problems particularly, and may be a decent aid to clearing up acne. It is not, however, a solution in it's own right. |

| Pros | Softens Skin Reduces redness and irritation Reduces appearance of old acne marks |
|---|---|
| Cons | If used topically, can be a little messy, easiest to wear at night before bed |
| Bottom line | I didn't notice so much of a change in my skin when taken orally, (probably because I was being impatient) but got curious and popped open a gel capsule and rubbed a small amount on a pimple that was starting to heal. The next morning, the redness and size of the pimple had dramatically gone down, so the next evening I applied it all over my face only to wake up to a more even toned and softer face! A few old acne marks on my face are fading nicely, I am pleasantly surprised at how well this works topically! |

| Pros | Skin isn't dry anymore. Helps reduce acne. |
|---|---|
| Cons | None that I can think of. |
| Bottom line | I have been taking this for over a year. 1000mg or more a day, depending on how bad my skin was. After about a month and a half I noticed that my complexion had improved greatly. My break-outs were happening less often and my skin was healing. I was taking various other supplements and doing things for my skin so I can't give Primrose Oil 100% of the praise- but I can tell that it definitely made a difference. As with ANY supplement, you have to take it for more than a month to see a benefit. Otherwise, you're not giving it a chance to get into your system. |
