I love this - I use it every day and night. It feels great and works well with the BP gel. Alpha hydroxy has been a wonderful addition to my skincare regime - once I got used to it and it stopped stinging. I've seen a definite improvement in the appearance of my skin, a lot of discoloration evened out; an overall smoother, healthier appearance. I actually use this in conjunction with the Alpha Hydroxy face cream from Walgreen's. The only thing is I can't put any of it on my neck or it stings and itches like crazy - so be sure to test this stuff out before you use it!

This stuff works really well, but I'd only use it at night because of how greasy it makes you look.
If you try this stuff, make sure none of it touches your clothes. if it does and then you wash you clothes, it will stain them and wash out the colors to this strange pinkish color. After a couple loads of ruined laundry i figured this out. I'd only wear it at night when you have on a shirt that you don't mind if it looks like hell from now on.

After a few days of putting it on as I started the regime it began to take away the dryness of my skin, which was nice. BUT...I have yet to put it on and not have it sting like heck! Especially ay night, it's worse, for some odd reason. I have trouble falling asleep because the pain is so intense. It's like a burning/hot/stinging sensation. Not pleasant! Plus it's kind of sticky when I put on my brush-on mineral makeup. But, I'm going to stick it out for at least another week and see if the sting will go away. Buy it at Wal-mart guys! It's cheap and available there in the lotion aisle.

My biggest problem with all the moisturizers I have tried is that they make my skin shiny/oily. After putting this, and others, on my face in the morning, before lunch my face is shiny. Except for the expense, I do like the Proactiv sunscreen/moisturizer because it is the only one I've tried that keeps my skin matte throughout most of the day.

Just wanted to throw another product out there. Eucerin sensitive facial skin Redness Relief soothing night cream. It took the stinging and dry, tight feeling away almost immediately after applying it. Its real thick and creamy and didnt sting around my eyes. Just wanted to recomend another product. Hope it works for you if you decide to try it. And by the way......it has no odor what-so-ever.

I started using this lotion even before I found out about BP Gel (which I love). I have dry skin and this lotion is the only stuff that really properly hydrates my face. It works so well that after I started using BP I never experienced any flakiness at all, no problems. My skin looks great. I have to use less in the summer when I'm in a more humid climate (I live in CA, so this is not usually a problem, dry skin year round here) but I never get a white residue or anything.
I also love packaging, the pump is perfect for pumping out the exact same amount to use every time you apply it.
The only complaint I have is that it really burns the skin around my eyes if I accidentally get it near them... it's kind of annoying, especialy because I don't want to have to put a different lotion around my eyes... but this stuff works so well, it's worth it.

HIGHLY OVER-RATED!
This thing sucks at taking out flakes! Sure, it doesn't have that sunscreen smell and it's light - but either than that, it's worthless! It moisturizes as well as the Neutrogena moisturizer and it's not as greasy - however, the shipping costs are ridiculous. I gave this item a 1 in effectiveness, since it lies about eliminating flakiness.
Again - highly over-rated!

I absolutely love this product, it has been the answer to my problems! i tried some of the other recommended moisturizers first, but was dissatisfied. The Eucerin completely changed the texture of my face, which now feels smooth and clear. I was becoming pretty clear with the benzoyl peroxide, but using this in combination has made my face almost 100 % clear. It eliminated all flakiness, absorbed really quickly, and is light enough for the oily areas of my face. Also perfect under makeup (which now I don't need to use as much, thanks to this product and the regimen!) Difficult to find in drugstores, so I order from [link removed].

This is the best lotion I have ever tried. It totally eleminates the flakiness. I have had a tough time finding it locally, so I have gone to the Internet to replinish. Before Eucerin Skin Renewal Day Lotion, SPF 15 my face as a mess.

Not trying to bash this lotion, which obviously works well for many people. I bought this after reading the reviews and regimen on this site, but it causes me some small but painful breakouts the next day, unlike other lotions I've used. I suspect it's because it contains lactic acid, and I may be allergic to it. Just posting in case others have experienced this same phenomenon. I've had success using lotions without lactic acid (check ingredients to make sure).
