| Bottom Line: | Okkkayy i have had moderate acne since i was 11, and my dermatologist has prescribed jsut about everything (well, actually jsut one or 2 creams and 2 oral pills, because she treated my brother too (SEVERE acne) and knew that if she did not find a cream within a few tries it was pointless to go beating around the bush) so this is my last resort before Accutain. I have taken it for about 3/4 months, and it has done NOTHIGN to me. absolutly NOTHING. but i heard it works for some people, so give it a try i guess. |

| Pros: | it is the most effective and fast treatment I ever got.Even My Cousin's face started to clear off.highly recommended for cystic acne |
| Cons: | might cause redness if alot added. should be used daily with the right face cleanser until your face cleared up ,it wont be effective without it ( mine, Gentle cleanser by GLY Derm), but you'll reduce it day by day , until you stop |
| Bottom Line: | I have cystic acne and oily skin since the age of 18.For 4 years Iam looking for a miracle treatment .I went to 3 doctors (the best doctors in city).they insisted me to use recotine( which i highly dont recommend). I've went through proactive, natural treatments and every known treatment you would imagine.None were effective.my face became filled with scars.I looked horrible and untreatable until I made up my mind to take recotine pills I was about to buy them from the store ( after getting the doctors prescription) I said to myself "what if it didnt worked for me? think of the side effects.ok, it might clear them first but whats the garantee that it wont come back?am I going to take that risk?" so I took the erthromycin ( stiemycin solution) and face cleancer ( gentle cleanser by GLY derm) as they were discribed with recotine.for approximatly two weeks of daily usage my face 100% cleared up.A miracle .imagine cystic acne cleared up by a treatment that costs less than $25(2 items). |

| Pros: | cleared me up about 90% then suddenly out of the blue little whiteheads starting appearing on my chin, then on my forehead now they are slowly starting to spread on my cheeks..arggghhhh! |
| Cons: | ok for a quick fix but then you become immune and then your back to square one, full of little whiteheads. I thought it was down to stress but its not its this stuff. anyway going to see my doctor tomorrow need something to help with my skin. |
| Bottom Line: | ok, its a quick fix like a bandaid then it cant stick anymore and falls off and lets all the white ones through.. and boy is it bad news seeing your skin go from stunningly clear to getting tiny red bumps and there popping up around my mouth - boy they look ugly and I feel it. Im off to see my doctor tomorrow and going to beg for something to take oral that will help:( |

| Bottom Line: | i started using zineryt a few months ago and it worked really well until about 4 weeks ago when my acne started to come back again so i started to eat healthier and kept on using zineryt and my acne has died down a little bit again.
before that my doctor gave me panoxyl which is a gel that you apply to your skin once a did but that made my skin inflamed and my acne spot look sore and red so that did not work and i stoped using that. |

| Cons: | Bacterias developed resistance amazingly fast. Cause redness on the skin and light irritation. |
| Bottom Line: | It's a common low cost, risk free treatment against Acne; but there is very few people who actually get the desires results. For me it worked the firsts days, and after that, it was absolutely the same to use or not use it.
Due to the low cost and the risk free, it's worth a try, but do not keep high spectation with it. |

| Pros: | (about the topical erythromycin pledgits) It cleared up my skin for the first time in years! It's great. This form has no bad intestinal side effects as it is topical. The "burn" only hurts (and not that bad) the first few times... it kind of tickles |
| Cons: | It may dry out your skin (not severe), Its hard to combine it in a system where you wish to tone and moisturize as well due to the 30 min rule, very expensive if your insurance sucks, IF YOU QUIT USING IT YOUR ACNE WILL RETURN! |
| Bottom Line: | This is a wonderful way to treat acne, I didnt even have to go to a dermatologist to get it... just ask your doctor. Its about 11.00 - 20.00 per month with insurance but can be around 50.00 without insurance. But Having acne free skin that is also well toned and even colored is worth it, it can really take a toll on your mood whe you dont like the way your skin looks. It's easy to use...
Unfortunately, I havent been able to get it for awhile and I have broken out once again.. .this is also because I am very poor and cannot afford to pay $17 for one warm shower... but thats a different Issue... I miss this stuff and I am currently trying to get more still... if that proves anything |

| Pros: | Having had 2 courses of Roaccutane which helped but didn't solve my problem, I was skeptical about an antiobiotic. But i was wrong! Oraly erythromycin is AMAZING. I saw significant improvement after a few weeks and now I have perfect skin, literally. |
| Cons: | No side effects for me. My only fear is that eventually I'll develop resistance to it. |
| Bottom Line: | As your GP to prescribe it. Don't think that just because other antibiotics haven't worked for you that erythromycin won't. I tried 'Lymecycline' for several months with little improvement but erythromycin worked phenomenally. This stuff is amazing. And the oral form is also more effective than topical erythromycin (Zineryt didn't work very well for me).
I would almost describe it as a miracle cure for my skin. Give it a decent try (you need to use it for a good 2 months to tell whether it's going to work). Highly, highly recommended. |

| Bottom Line: | The Tablet form, in prescription of Erythrocin is amazing!!! I have had acne since i was ten and it has ALWAYS had an affect pn me regarding socializing and going out etc.. I always felt that it was there and couldnt hide it!!! I have tried countless types of medication, creams, treatments and NONE have worked like this!!1 It is a miracle and i am being genuinely serious! I havent EVER seen tablets work so quick in my life.I took a trial of them for 4 days along with a retinol based topical cream and the difference in my skin was amazing!! One of my friends actually was shocked at the difference!!
I am no starting a trial of them for a month and I cant wait to see the results... only problem is that once u go off them they tend to flare back up.. but that was my experience of taking them for a four day trial but they are anti biotics so they should keep clear for a good while!!! I know this whole thing sounds cheesy but it really is a miracle! NOTE:Price Below is in EURO!!! |
