this medication is most commonly perscribed by a doctor i recommend trying the pregnancy pill i know it soungds stupid but its helps stop and eliminate acne it also helps your body to prevent it from pushing the impurities in your blood through the skin (this causes acne)

hi..

i started on erythromycin about 3 months ago...along with the panoxyl cream. ive had a real improvement so far, the acne isnt the most dominant feature in my face anymore. and the pan oxyl hasnt made my skin feel dry or anything, the only worrying sign, is that there looks like there could be some mild scarring from past acne. but that can be sorted out by a dermeatologist, i think its good, worked well for me, caught my acne at the right time, and things are loooking up!

Started taking Ethromycin (sp) last week i was on it a long time ago but dont have the patients for most drugs, but i am sticking to this one although i took 2 last nite and have been vommiting all morning, i do see a slight difference but will not be able to tell until another month or two. I have tried everything but i really reccomend pan - oxyal i started on 5 there is 10 but may be for severe cases. Your skin burns like mad and peels but it is only for a few days and worth it in the end. Good luck.

First time using medication for acne. mine is mild but always get one or two big inflammed ones. It helped to clear up skin for a while but after course finished they were all back again. Also had terribel headaches and gastric problems. Not recommended for people with sensitive stomachs or gastric problems.

I take erythromycin orally (as an antibiotic) and I have seen amazing results. My moderate acne began clearing up after a few weeks. It did upset my stomach, and gave me diarreah for the first week, but eventually I tolerated it. I highly recommend this as an antibiotic, and have not tried it as a topical yet.

I'm 19 and just have been diagnosed with acne. I have very open pours but since the last month i have had terrible acne on my chest, back, shoulders, neck and arms. fost i was put on Vibro something for one month and that did absolutly nothing to help me. Yesterday i was given Erythromycin and a roll on lotion to put on. I shall update to inform of the effects. Im writing this on a boiling hot summers day. I will not go out when my skin is like this.

I have had acne since I was 12 years old - i'm 20 now so i have tried many different acne treatments. When I was 14 my doctor prescribed me the oral form of erythromycin 4 per day. It worked really well compared with other things I had tried. As long as I took it with food it caused no side effects. I still got the monthly hormonal breakout so I went on diane 35 ED (pill) cleared acne right up and stopped using erythromycin.
