Nasty Skin, Boston,MA Nov 19th, 2009 How well it works Agreeability Affordability

Pros: - Price was 2 dollars for the pills. - minor to no changes. Maybe smaller bumps? Bumps weren't that big to begin with. Cons: - Solution can spill easily don't give you much. - Pills did absolutely nothing! Bottom Line: I've been on the solution for a little over three months and it hasn't done much for my skin. Maybe make them a bit smaller than before but my bumps aren't huge. Some people say they aren't noticeable but their noticeable to me and I want clear skin. I still have blackheads and the occasional white heads. Doctor switched me from tetracycline pills to ethromycin 333mg delayed version pills and these did nothing for my skin. Requesting a new derm and a new medication next time I see him. I have to pay for my prescription in cash so when my money isn't well spent its a problem. Pros: Clears up acne, didn't irritate skin, not harsh. Cons: NONE. Bottom Line: I swear, I've had the most horrible acne ever since I was 13. It was horrible because no one else had every single spot on their face covered with cystic acne and horrible acne scars. I'm now 15 and I'm so proud of how my skin has become. My dermatologist has prescribed me the pill type erythrocin. It took 2 months but my skin is MUCH better now. I still have little bumps in places but they don't have pus in them and they're not huge. I have a lot of acne scars due to those 2 years of popping pimples all over my face, and I'm working on them but this stuff CLEARS ACNE. When I feel my face it's super smooth. Pros: After the first 3 weeks I started to see a vast improvement, heals spots, prevents cysts and reduces redness. Cons: As with any antibiotic for acne, it takes time to see the effect, beeee patient! Bottom Line: I take 4x250mg per day along with using Isotrexin Gel at night and a little BP duringn the day (as Isotrexin peel away like a face mask gradually) along with a basic moisturiser with a little Jojoba Oil. Pros: The first 2 weeks i used this, it cleared completely. About 30 spots to nothing. Has stopped me from getting cysts completetly Cons: Makes skin really greasy. Acne is coming back worse than before - no cysts, but loads of red pimples. Bottom Line: Short term - brilliant Long term not so good. However very few antibiotics have had an effect on me - im on isotretonoin now. Im fed up of the war with acne Recommended: Yes Usage: jack buckley has used this item for a few weeks. Pros: It cleared my skin of redness and spots after just a few days. Beautiful. Cons: After a few months, I suddenly came up in tons of spots over my forehead. Was very confused????? . I stoped taking them for a month..and the spots came back as quick as they went. Bottom Line: They do work to some degree.. just make sure you complete the course. Pros: I stopped getting pimples after a week of taking the medication. Cons: You cannot chew them you have to swallow them whole. Bottom Line: Anything that takes one week to work is a great product. Pros: These tablets really worked for me! i've been on them for about 3 months and can see a huge difference. the redness has dissapeared and there are not as many puss filled spots. It works very well with benoxyl peroxide cream. Cons: When i first took the medication i felt sick and was in bed for 3 days, however, i didn't stop the medication and eventually got used to it. Bottom Line: Basically, it was 100% effective and was FREE! (beacasue it was prescribed by the doctor) .... i definatly reccomend it. Pros: After two days I can already see a difference in my skin, Reduced redness. I no longer wake upto 5 new spots each morning full of puss. My mates can see the difference and it really helped my self esteem. Cons: No cons whatsoever upto yet. I think it's probably due to the fact im pretty healthy all over. Bottom Line: You can't get much better than these tablets. No side effects for me. I am very pleased with the results. Ask your GP / Dr to presribe these for you and hopefully you should get the same results as me. It hasn't cleared up completely but im only at the start of the course. Pros: clears up skin fast. Ive been on this for only a day and i already see a decrease in redness. Cons: absolutely none. ive seen from other peoples post that they complain of stomache aches/cramps. It clearly says you are suppose to take it with food. plain and simple. Also you are suppose to take it every 12 hours. Your body needs a routine. Bottom Line: Ive used this product before in the past and it has worked tremendously. For me I would break out because i would smoke tons and tons of weed. Idk why but i always broke out from it. Now that i havent smoked in about a month and i break out really bad. I didnt get it at first but i accepted that i might be the type of person who needs to be on antibiotics for acne until my hormones calm down by themselves. Now my second time using it, it has only been a day and i see a little improvement in redness and some have even gone away. Erythromicin works Ive always taken it in pill form. Id say try it out. Pros: Some improvement in skin Cons: Stomach problems still persist 10 years after I took this. Constant coughs, colds and sore throats while I was taking it. Bottom Line: I am thirty now. Took this for roughly two years from late teens into early twenties. I still suffer mild/moderate acne with occasional bad outbreaks but would not ever consider taking this drug again. My acne did not clear up completely while taking this but I guess there was some improvement. What I can say is that the night I first took this the stomach cramps started. I ingored them because I was desperate for a solution. I have suffered serious trouble with my stomach ever since. My immune system also basically collapsed while I was taking this. My 2 cents worth - Try it if your doctor thinks it would suit you and other drugs have not worked. But if you start getting stomach issues stop immediately.
