| Pros | I've used this at night for years (the cream or gel) mixed with aloe vera gel or other face mosturizers. It feels like a lotion on my face (not drying at all) & clears the acne too. Has worked far better than all the other products I've tried. |

| Cons | It can bleach clothing/bedding. It does have the "benzoyl peroxide" smell, but that can be diminished depending on the lotion it's mixed with. |

| Pros | This product really drys up pimples fast. It works and has not made me break out worse like some other products like Pro Active. I love it & it's a great price. |

| Bottom line | This product is good for moderate to cystic acne and it's inexpensive. Use it every other day if your skin is sensitive or weekly with a great oil-free fragrance-free moisturizer. If you have african american skin, I'd recommend seasonal chemical peels to clear away the dead skin cells. You'll have beautiful skin again over time. Maintenance is key for acne prone skin. |

| Pros | Works really well. I tried Neutrogena to Pro-Active and none of those treatments worked for me. I wasted hundreds of dollars and Equate is inexpensive and dependable. It helped clear up my acne and get rid of scars too! It works fast! |

| Pros | are you serious!!! this product is ridiculous!! honestly i've tried every acne treatment you can think of... except for pro active and that's just cause i've seen what it really does to people face "makes it worse". and no acne treatment comes close! |

| Bottom line | this product says use daily, I use a small amount once or twice aweek because its very strong, works great and keep face clear. I got proactive as a gift and after useing it for about 2 months it dosen't even compare to how good this stuff work's. |

| Cons | the bottle ( cream ) has a weird gritty ingredient, which i can't stand. needs to be shaken well - best for spot treatment. Usage all over will produce an extremely dry almost powdery film. Can only be bought at Wal Mart. |

| Bottom line | I've used different acne meds for the last 10 years. This is the only one that will keep my face consistently clear. I use a pea-size amount every morning and night on my whole face. |
