Pros After shaving my face I apply alittle and my skin is sooo smooth and soft and helps alot with razor burns. I also think its working for my receding hair line :)
Cons none yet
Bottom line Its all natural so your not adding chemicals and other man made stuff to your skin which i think leads to cancer. There is a reason why people have been using it for thousands of years

Pros clears acne from the inside and outside. Heals skin.
Cons If use the 100% oil it will be a little oily at first
Bottom line I'm 37 and have had acne since I was 11. I have had very oily skin. Tried everything from over the counter to presciption. Some things worked as a short term solution. 7 months ago I got on to emu oil products from a friend who used it for various things. I used the one product first on a bad burn and was sold. I got on to the website this product came from and saw a whole line of products. [link removed]
For acne they have a facial soap made just for acne. Plus I take the emu oil fatty acid complete internally. At night I use the rejuvination cream since I have damaged skin from ranching and living in high altitude and during the day the "new day" (plus use Neuregena 85 spf sun screen). One day I didnt put on the new day and noticed the dirt was getting into my pores. So this cream acts as a barrier. Diffentally worth the look at the website to try. Oh and my oily skin is gone also and sun spots - bye bye. I'm completely sold on all thier things.

Pros effective and No bad reaction to skin
Cons small amount is expensive, Takes a while to see noticeable difference
Bottom line I'm not sure if it fades a way my acne scars yet. I have only been using it for two weeks. However, I haven't had muy usual cystic breakouts. I get the occasional tiny pimple from eating junk but it does work. I use it after I watch with tea tree/shea butter body wash. I use emu oil in the morning or before bed and sometimes swtich it up with 10% benzoyle peroxide which is also a lifesaver. Defitely a great moisturizer after usuing bp.

Pros Clears blemishes, softens wrinkles. Great for dry skin areas. I love to use it at night before I go to bed. My skin looks plump and dew kissed when I awaken in the morning. I recommend using a small bit around the eyes. A little goes a long way.
Cons Using too much will make you look greasy. It feels very light, so one may not realize that they are using too much.
Bottom line I don't have acne, but it works well to maintain aging skin. I mix in some green tea to thin it out and cucmber extract to tighten pores. People often ask me my skin care secrets. When I tell them that I use Emu oil they seem shocked and don't believe me. But it is true. I have two grandchildren that people think are my kids. When they see me out with my 24 year old, they think I'm the older sister! I can't speak for anyone else, but I love it. Start using it in your mid twenties and your skin will stay youthful for many, many years to come!

Pros Calms my irritated and peeling skin better than anything.
Cons The main ingredient is oleic Acid, which is a known comedogen. IT DOES CLOG POURS!! do not use if you have oilly skin.
Bottom line IT DOES CLOG POURS!!! The main ingredient is Oleic acid which is a known comedogen. That being said, I use it only becuase I use retin-A 0.1% at night and in the morning emu oil is the only thing that can stop the intense peeling. If i didnt use retina i wouldnt use emu oil, becuase it can clog pours. Do not listen to the crack pots about it not causing acne, cause it can if you already have oilly type skin. Dry skin types it might help. However, if you use it for reasons like i use it then its the best thing out there to calm irritated and peeling skin. It does have antibacterial properties, cause it contains linoleic acid as well(which is why dry skin types with acne could benifit), I actually used it once for athletes foot and it worked really really well.

Pros Very moisturizing, no smell if you get a good brand, and all natural
Cons Too much makes you shiny/oily, and can clog poors
Bottom line I first got emu oil 1 yr ago for a new tattoo, and decided to try using it on my face for a moisturizer instead of olive oil. At first I thought it was great because it's super moisturizing, it can make you look shiny, especially if you're prone to oily skin, but a little goes a long way. Unfortunately, I stopped using this about a month ago because I realized that not only were my breakouts getting worse and worse, but my pores have gotten larger and it seems something I was using was clogging my pores and hence leading to more breakouts. So, while I still love emu for being so moisturizing yet non-greasy, I just can't really use it on my face. Excellent for healing a new tat though.

Pros High in essential fatty acids, emu oil works incredibly well when applied to the skin. It is natural rather than synthetic oil thus it has everything our skin needs, naturally!
Cons 100% pure rendered animal fat. Emus are relatives of the ostrich and look them. Emu oil is a by-product of the emu meat industry- the fat trimmed from the meat is ground and refined to make it a free-flowing oil rather than a coagulated fat.
Bottom line 100% Natural and does what it says! If you can get past the animal ethics issue. I can, Id rather have good skin, and since I eat meat, what amounts to smearing melted chicken fat on my face is not a problem. It made me curious to try emu meat at a restaurant that even had alligator on the menu, and it was ok. I got the oil to start treating wrinkles, and my skin sucks it up and feels moisturized all the time, so I've needed to use less. My wrinkles have improved! I put it on my kids' faces before going outside, it definitely keeps their little cheeks from getting windburn or chapped from the cold! Im really glad P.E.T.A. hasn't gotten a hold of the emu industry yet, and I hope they don't, I need my emu oil!

Pros Doesn't clog pores, helps red marks heal and fade, moisturizes and softens skin, doesn't smell bad considering it's the fat from the back of an emu, inexpensive way to attack scarring
Cons looks oily on the skin (doesn't necessarily feel like there's a ton of oil on your face, though)
Bottom line I've used this product for exactly one week. It's not a miracle cure/product, but I have noticed that my red marks are fading more quickly. I have not noticed it reducing inflammation in active acne, though. But also, it doesn't cause active acne, so it certainly won't hurt anything. I only apply it at night (due to the oiliness, I am not attempting to cover this stuff with make-up...would probably turn my brushes and make-up a gunky mess), and I just apply it to the areas that need to heal. Any red marks or possible scars get doused in this stuff each night before (usually try to let it absorb for close to half an hour if I can) I apply my topical retinoid and antibiotic. So basically, I use it in place of a moisturizer. I'm hoping that with continued use, I will achieve more dramatic results.

The brand I use is Thunder Ridge Emu Products which I purchased from a local Vitamin World for $16. It is 100% Emu Oil, so it isn't smelly.

Many benefits. Few cons. I'd try it if
