| Pros | Works quickly Doesn't dry out skin Doesn't irritate Skin Isn't sensitive to sun |
|---|---|
| Cons | Heals little by little, not one night and its no more acne |
| Bottom line | This product works well on moderate acne and after the first night my acne was clearing up, it works quick, but doesn't heal all acne in one day. |

| Pros | -Clearer skin -less oil -still working and it s been over a year -reduces size of pimple sooner |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Dry skin -Takes about 3 weeks to see improvement -slight redness -flaking -didnt fully clear my skin |
| Bottom line | It worked and is still working pretty good and its already been over a year. I have suffered from mild to moderate acne for about 4 years now...Im 17 by the way...anywho i was prescribed this duac gel by my doc and when i started using it my skin became unbearably dry and flaky and my skin also became red it did help with some of my acne so i stuck with it ...soon enough i realized that the moisturizer i was using was no good soo i ditched that and began using cerave in conjuction with EVOO and Jojoba oil my flakes went away along with the redness now my skin is perfectly fine and the duac is still working (Athough i would prefer my skin to be completely clear :/ ) i would reccomend using this if you have mild to moderate acne cuz in my opinion it does work also try cerave if you have dry sensitive skin its AMAZINGGGGGGG!:) P.s. it was 50$ with my insurance |

| Pros | Works wonders, completely cleared skin of ALL acne. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Expensive, loses effectiveness over time. |
| Bottom line | Your face will eventually get used to it :( I have been using this for a little over a year, and I have to say, I do not have the same results now as I did in the first 6 months. |

| Pros | keeps skin mostly acne free easy to apply once a day application works for long periods of time helps severe acne helps really any types of acne great for teenage use |
|---|---|
| Cons | can leave face feeling tight can actually burn your skin (i have it in the crease of my chin) expensive (but effective) |
| Bottom line | I have really bad acne. I'm talking REALLY bad, especially for a 14 year old like me. Not the occasional pimple here and there. I'm talking all over my face, red bumps, white bumps, deep bumps, everything. My doctor couldn't find a thing that worked for me. She then made me try Duac, and I couldn't believe the difference it made! My skin is now mostly clear and I feel so more confident about myself. Although, there was this one time where I used too much, and my face completely tightened up. I couldn't move my face at all while I was at school! And I've also been burned by it. But for these small cons, this is such a great product! |

| Pros | -cleared my cystic acne in just a month. -reduced facial hair. -made my skin glow. |
|---|---|
| Cons | -can be oily on skin. -my skin turn extremely red. -can only be applied once in a day. -a lil expensive. |
| Bottom line | This product is amazing at first. i used it for a month and it cleared all my acne along with the scars to 90%. i was taking doxycycline 100mg alongwith Duac. just give it a try if you love your skin. i have recomended it to a lot of my friends suffering from acne since years at my university and they love me for this. it has completely cleared their faces. it only depends how your skin responds to it. but eventually it is my last resort and i love this product. |

| Pros | No odor. Easy to use. Seriously helps your acne. Pimples slowly fade away. It really helped me, I've really bad acne, and I've still a pretty long way to go, but it has dramatically helped. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Redness. Dryness. Bleaches hair and clothes. If not consistent, it isn't really very effective. |
| Bottom line | This is a solid medicine, often perscribed. It works very well, it's not a miracle medicine. It takes time, as all acne medicines do, just be consistent and you'll see definite changes. |

| Pros | -It helped clear a spot on my face pretty quickly for me and my brother who even had much worse acne and he was impressed - It doesn't have a bad smell - Easy to apply |
|---|---|
| Cons | - I personally had an allergic reaction after the third day. - It bleaches clothes and hair as my doctor warned me. |
| Bottom line | We are taking Minocycline with Duac as the doctor recommended. It seems that I have to contact my doctor and find a replacement for Duac because I am allergic to it. On the other hand, my brother doesn't have any problem with it and he likes it. I guess it depends on you, overall it is definitely worth a try. |

| Pros | It's easy to use (I apply it at night) Works well |
|---|---|
| Bottom line | It totally helped me. I originally had light acne, where I'd get about 5-10 random pimples on my face, but I just dealt with it. Then I moved to NYC and I worked and went to school and got super stressed out and my face broke out, like terribly! My face was covered when that had never happened before. So I tried proactiv, murad, some natural stuff, and other random products, but nothing worked. So finally I went to a dermatologist and they put me on Duac, Adoxa and Differen (just once a week). And for the first month I thought it wasn't working, but they told me to just hold out. So I did, and I also switched to mineral makeup n had this skin lady (she worked at the dermatologist, but had a side job at the hair salon specifically helping acne sufferers, but did other skin care things as well) basically pop all my zits ( it kinda hurt, n it made them worse for a week, but after that it only improved). And finally after that it got better. Slowly my face cleared up. And now it's been 6 months and I have practically perfect skin (minus a zit by my lips but that's from my chapstick lol, and some light red scars that only I see, because when I tell ppl they say Im crazy haha) And my skin is even better than ever! |

| Pros | Keeps acne under control, no fowl smell, fast and easy to apply |
|---|---|
| Cons | It's a prescription, can be harsh on the skin, makes acne worse if you don't stay consistent |
| Bottom line | This is a good medication for those who want to keep acne under control, but it did not completely get rid of my acne. I needed to use another cleanser just to keep my face smooth and clean-feeling because this medication left it dried out and peeling because of the ingredients. Whenever I would skip using it, even for one day, my acne would flare up and get even worse than it was to begin with! If you stick with the medication and have only moderate acne, this product should be fine. |
