I'm still undecided about this stuff! I've been using it for nearly two weeks now and it has cleared my spot (acne) problem. The only problem is that like some of the other listings it has left me with a very very very red, dry and itchy face (alot like sunburn). Will try and use every other day to see if it calms down. It doesn't cost me anything as it is free on the NHS so i'll keep trying.

Works good in the morning when teamed up with Differin Gel at night. It does dry me up though and causes unresistable itching. Cetaphil Moisturizer helps the itching some what and the dryness a whole lot though. I use a cetaphil cleansor before i apply it which increases the dryness just a bit but i have no complaints since i'm seeing results. I've been using this, Differin Gel, and cetaphil moisturizer and cleansor for only a week and its working gr8 already in such a short period of time. At this pace, i may not even have to buy the prescription. The samples my derm. gave me will problably be enough.

antibiotics stopped working for me at age 17 so i went on accutane for 5 months and it cleared me up completely. Now a year later the acne has come back and i was perscribed duac with doxycycline pills. Its been three days and i am still having the same breakouts as before, can anyone relate to this or done this same thing and eventually seen results with the duac gel?

I just started on duac this week. I use it in the am and Tazorac at night along with minocycline twice a day. This is a last ditch effort before accutane therapy. I get huge cystic acne that takes forever to go away and right now my chin is completely covered. Also my skin is extremely oily so I hope this works since I've tried basically everything except Accutane. My copay was 45.00..not too bad. My face feels like its being bit by thousands of red ants when I put it on..hope that gets better but glad to read all the positive comments and am hoping it will help.

My doctor gave me some samples of this stuff and it did seem to work a little bit better than using separate tubes of BP and clindamycin. When I used up the samples and went to get the prescription filled, my insurance wouldn't pay for it. Cost me $130 for one tube.

Had a baby and she wrecked my skin. So 6 months after I had her I tried Duac. I had horrible cysts on my face during pregnancy and horrible pigment discoloration all on my cheeks from the cysts. With Duac my face has cleared up in a huge way. As far as causing dryness:Use it just at night, let it dry and then MOISTURIZE. You'll avoid the redness/itchy symptoms, etc.

Started Duac in the morning & Retin-A Micro at bedtime about 10 days ago. Duac really controls the oil and my face is much clearer, slightly itchy, but clearing nicely.

It made my fave so itchy, red and dry. When I went swimming it hurt even more. When I visited a make-up store the guy told me it's probably because I have a little bit of a burned face so that's why it's super sensitive. I'm gonna try skipping a day and than start again.

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! It saved my life as far as treating my acne - and I took Accutane! I have super sensitive skin. The cool cream feels wonderful. It is non-drying and I have zero side effects. I use it every night after I wash my face. My skin is 100% clear of pimples except the now occasional random pimple. However it does not due anything for blackheads. They still remain on my nose like most people.
