Duac is simply the best out there, clearing up both existing acne and preventing future breakouts. Just disregard the dormant period of two weeks where nothing really happens... results are sure to show soon! Only problem is w/o healthcare its a bit pricey.

Duac was perscribed to me after completing my Accutane (4 months). I never had severe acne (only two scars) but I have had skin problems from the age of 11 to 22. The cost to me was $5.00 through insurance.

Duac works very well. I would reccomend the folowing: use a very gentle face cleanser (i.e. Cetaphil & jojoba oil), use a 30+ SPF mosturizer in the morning (Eucurin works well), and put a soft & clean white towel down over your pillow case at night to prevent bleaching. Also, try starting off with spot treatment and working your way up to full-face application.

I suspect some of the burning may be slight sun damage as BP leaves the skin sensitive to the sun. Good luck!!

This helps keep acne to a minimum, with fewer spots and less inflammation. Leaves skin nice and matte.

However, the high price is exorbitant. I will probably have to stop using it, as I can´t afford this medicine.

After 6 months, this treatment has really done wonders. I did not see the immediate improvement that some people on here have, and it took about 3 months for good results. So stick with it and do not get discouraged by the dryness, redness. I continue to use it once a night, and spot treat new pimples with it for the day. For moisturizer, I found that Zirh Protect is the absolute best for the flaking issues that come in the begining of treatment.

I've been using Duac along with Differin about 1 week in a half and I'll have to say its the best treatment out there and not expensive if you have insurance like I do! The first day or two your face will be red but once it gets used to you I'll go away! Results in just 3 days! I wish I could do a commericial for it! it's great! I tried everything and this has only worked! Everyone looks at me differently and says I look differently also...every notices they cant belive it worked so FAST! I recomend this product to everyone, its easy to apply I also wash my face with dove, gentle exfoliating before putting the treatment on, use a mild soap, plys dove has lotion on it so it's perfect for it! and Duac takes about 4 weeks to work completly! GET IT NOW!

Ive been using the Duac and Differin combination for about 2 years and have had a significant improvement. At one time i would have 4-5 pimples and a patch or two, and now, the most i ever have is 1-2 and no patches. Just be careful and dont touch any clothes/bedsheets until it dries!

My face was a horrible mess, due in part to 10 weeks of Differin therapy(horrible product). I began a Duac/Proactiv/Cetaphil regimen two weeks ago. The breakouts immediately stopped. The Duac dried my skin and made my face REALLY red for 3-4 days. Now, my face looks pretty good - I still have the hyperpigmentation from the Differin breakouts, but it's fading. Overall, Duac is great. I also noticed that if you let the product dry completely, it won't bleach out your clothes, bedding, etc.

My spots were never 'severe' but definately noticeable, and I'd never want to leave the house without some concealer on. I finally decided to sort it out and my doctor prescribed duac. (Free on prescription in the UK) It says it may take a while to work but within three weeks I was almost completely clear. After 2 months my skin was utterly clear, even old faded scars that had been hanging around for a while went. My skin also felt and looked a lot less oily and nicer in general. I then switched to quinoderm as it was a bit of a hassle having to get a prescription every 2 months....and the spots started to come back! Quick as a shot I got some more duac, within a week it was as though I'd never left it...and I never will again!

On 2nd tube of this for my daughters acne. So far very good has worked very well on stubborn acne on her forhead which wouldn't shift with loads of other products including the regime. We get this free from GP I would highly recommend.
