| Bottom line | I think this product is very good, i have been using for about one month and it has been doing exactly what it says on the tin. I used to use it along with oral tablets every different kind you can think of. I gave up with the tablets and now just usethis DUac on its own and it is great. I use a 25ml tube every 4 days because i cover a large area generously. But thats ok because i don't pay for this cream. And if i did i would only pay £6.95 about USD$12 |

| Bottom line | I wanted to reply to one of the messages someone posted. They asked if anyone knew of a gentle cleanser they could use before applying medication. I definitely suggest trying Purpose Bar Soap before applying duac, or any other medication to the face. It can be drying, and will leave a tight feeling right after you wash your face. After washing my face in the morning with Purpose soap, I apply duac, and then moisturizer (which is a MUST!) At night I do the same thing (the bar soap really takes off make-up effectively, leaving you with nothing but sweaky clean skin)Then I put on a different medication and I usually don't follow with moisturizer at night. Hope this helps! I really believe that Purpose bar soap is the best gentle cleanser you will find! |

| Bottom line | Had acne since i was about 8 was using, benzyl peroxide gel but dried up to much so switch to cream and worked ok whilst on minocycline was an improvement only small and only a certain amount, now switched to lymecycline and duac and its only been 2 days but noticed huge changes no new spots really starting to go and i have a nice parts where the skin is nicely moisturised and smooth where it pimply and oily only a week ago strongly recommend this course of action |

This is by far the best prescription medication I've ever been given. It made a big difference in my skin. I went from having really inflamed, painful acne to just occasional, small blemishes that only lasted 2 or 3 days tops. Best of all, I have really sensitive skin and I never felt any burning, itching, irritation at all. I remember thinking it could not be working because my face didn't hurt after I put it on! But it really did work well for me. I noticed a lot of the negative posts are from people who used this along with Differin. I wonder if it is not the Differin that has caused your problems. I switched from Duac to Differin and that was the biggest mistake I ever made. I am going to the dermo tomorrow to get off of Differin and back on Duac!!

I was given duac by my doctor a few weeks ago, which i applied once at night. I did see some improvements, though not much, and it DOESNT LAST i ran out by the 2nd week. And within a week my skin was just as bad as usual. I have now got another tube to try again, and it's been 5 days, with no results. I really, really hope it works!!!! i'm so depressed abput my skin! how long did anyone else find it takes to work? and has anyone else also found it runs out v quickly???

I used the accutane for 6 months and my face has been clear for over a year. all of a sudden my face started getting oily and started developing pimples more then often. i seen the doctor again and he prescribed my Retinol micro for night and duac for the a.m my face has since been clearing in only 2 weeks, but i do have dryness and slight burning which is not a problem considering the pimples would be worse. Other then that this product has been good to me so far.

I used duac for over a year an it seemed to work well reducing the amount of spots i had. It helps a bit with the fading of red marks. I stopped using it for about 2 months over the summer (dont do this) major breakouts started again. just started using it again for the past week, no real results yet but i will keep using it because i know it works

I was homeschooled all of seventh grade. During that period of time I got alot.....(and i mean alot) of pimples. I was very stressed at the time (having just gone through depression) and my skin was out of control!!!!!!!!!I had the biggest pimples mainly on my cheeks and little ones on my nose and forehead. I would never let anyone see me without makeup on. My mom took me to the doctor and she prescribed duac and differin. the first 4 weeks i really didnt notice a difference. Over the summer it got alittle better and then when i started school agian , and a real school i noticed it cleared up. That was 1 1/2 to 2 months into the product. now my skin is completely clear, although i do get some pimples here and there, but everything else is PERFECT!!!! I have to say i had my doubts abotut his product, but i gave it time and it really made a difference. I feel way better about myself now.
