Pros: gets rid of spota and stops most of the new pimples from coming. I still get about 1 or two a day but if i put some duac on them in the morning they are gone by noon Cons: it isnt helping me with my black heads... Pros: The breakouts are smaller and go away faster. If I have a pimple coming on, and I put a little on in the day, it usually doesn't get too much worse. I get less whiteheads, which I ALWAYS used to get. Cons: I still get just a frequent pimples. About 3 a day, which is actually more than normal. It's almost my period, and that makes me break out though...It hasnt gotten rid of my acne, but I dont know how long it's supposed to take. Been on it a month. Bottom Line: Smaller breakouts the go away faster, but has not cleared acne at all. Just as frequent as always. I'm also on Doxycycline at the same time. I dont recommend it as of yet, but things could change. I sure hope they do. Recommended: No Usage: Molly has used this item for about a month. Pros: i use it at night, i wake up with very clear skin.. however it gets worse as the day goes on.. i use a facial cleanser morning and night, which might be why? Cons: yeah, dry skin. who cares. Pros: It clears away blackheads and whiteheads which stops more spots! Cons: It doesnt clear up big zits that wont go away! Bottom Line: What i wanted to get rid of it didnt. Pros: non sticky, not very smelly Cons: dries the skin and causes the skin to become red - use with caution. The acne spots still remain. Pros: Works well after a few applications and results are very clear skin Cons: Dries out skin well, after 8 weeks i could no longer use product as my skin was massively irritated each time applied Bottom Line: A good quick fix, but irritation was just too much to continue using. Pros: It works and i have had acne for 13 years and its the first thing that is drying out my spots and getting rid of them. I only ever got spots at night but this prevents me from getting spots so I now wake up and no new spots have appeared :) :) Cons: I couldnt care less about a bit of dry sign, thats what moisturiser is for. Pros: Doesn't irritate skin, does what it says, great as a spot treatment Cons: SFC Lotion which accompanies the Rx tends get used up first. I believe this is what prevents the irritation Bottom Line: I actually went to my Dermatologist and requested a spot treatment. I am 24 years of age and have been acne proned all my life, initially, I was only prescribed Retin-A-Micro (which I love) but I also wanted something to treat isolated breakouts....hence the Duac topical gel. The two products work fine together and only on occassions do I notice MINOR irritation. I love the gel, I have had to for a few months but I don't use it everyday, mostly for breakouts around my jawline and in my T-Zone. It takes care of the problem in just a day or two. I love the SFC lotion which accompanies it...it feels great on my skin and provides a balance, non greasy moisterized feeling even with have to apply the 5% benzoyl peroxide gel...which is murder on anyone's skin. Pros: works quickly and clears skin with out the worry of acne returning (unless you stop using it) Cons: dries out skin, but that doesn't last for a long time, dries out lips, but chap stick helps that, or i use a product called carmex on my lips that really helps. Bottom Line: works great and results are worth the price, trust me, i have tried many different home remedy's, toothpaste, tea-tree oil, and different brands of different products, none have given me such a fantastic result, i have recommended it to all my friends with acne, so if you have struggled with acne for years like i did, go to your doctor and ask him for this product, because it works Recommended: Yes Usage: Shannon has used this item for a few months. Pros: it was amazing i had acne for 4 years and then i went to my doctor and she prescribed it it really works Cons: dries out skin a little and irratating but its worth it Bottom Line: i love duac but i use this cleanser called sfc lotion it works also and i use trentionion cream it stays in the fridge and i put it on at night and duac in the morning Recommended: Yes Usage: maureen has used this item for a few months.
