| Pros | Nice and soothing Gentle on skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | Having to keep it in the fridge, but thats not really a problem. A bit drying. |
| Bottom line | I have just started using this for a day and I have already fell in love with it. It helps to get rid of pimples you have, pimples that are coming also, redness. This is the only thing that I now rely on mainly. Its meant to dry out the area where you apply it. Would suggest this to anyone who has tried many products like benzac, etc and nothing else has worked with them. Love it! |

| Pros | Clears up Acne |
|---|---|
| Cons | Stains Clothes |
| Bottom line | I have had acne for over 16 years and nothing has worked. I used Duac about 3 years ago and have not taken a look back since. I have oily skin with mod acne. I have used everything in the book and Duac is the only thing that works. I would tell you to aleast to try it for a month and you will see a difference. Another thing, I don't not use just a pea size I use a good amount. It really does help. Also if you stop using you do tend to break out in less then a month. |

|---|---|
| Cons | leaves dry skin but can be helped by moustriser other whise no cons!! need a prescription so can get it whenever you want expencive! |
| Bottom line | i have been using duac for a while after my doctor recomended and prescribed this to me, he told me how to use it and the packet came with instructions and a mini diary that you can use to record how bad your acne is and the date and you can tick it when you have used it, so i looked forward to doing that every night! (: i totally recomend this im only 12 and this didnt hurt my skin so it shouldnt hurt yours. hope it works for you i still have a few pimples but they will go away soon !(; you will breakout at first because duac removes pimples deep in the skin so u ont breakout after you have used this! wish me further luck and i hope rest of my pimples go away before i go back to school in 1 week and 2 days!! good luck alls!! |

| Pros | IT WORKS |
|---|---|
| Cons | None you will need to put on moisturiser though. |
| Bottom line | Started Mid July 2011 by end of July 2011 my skin was completely clear. My acne was bad, very bad and ive had it for over 9 years. Duac worked wonderfully. Please try it. My derm also gave me trimethoprim(antibiotic) so think the combination has worked well but i attribute the bulk of the results to the duac. I no longer worry about how my face looks, sometimes i forget i actually had acne. Now the only thing left to do is resolved the psychological problems that have arisen as a result of the acne over the past 9 years |

| Pros | Make face really better after a day Disinfects |
|---|---|
| Cons | Dries skin because of BP |
| Bottom line | This product is magic. Well, almost. I am using this product about a month and biggest difference was after first night - lighter skin, smaller or dissapeared pimples, But after more than a day differences are very very small. My face is still spotted, but it really is different than how it was in the summer. My doctor prescribed this for me and I need to use it for two months. I can say that for my acne (forehead, cheeks, chin) I finished one bottle after half a month. Other thing that most of people don't like - that it dries skin very much, but it's likely for products which active ingredient is Benzoylperoxide (5%). My skin feels better. Really. The one thing what I fear most is that this product wouldn't help me later, because I see that spots don't dissapear very fast like at first. But it heals cysts very fast, and I didn't get them at all. |

| Pros | - Gets rid of them little stubborn flesh coloured spots I have on my forehead - When you feel a painful volcano about to form on your face it reduces it to nothing before it forms and errupts! - Clears the redness from the spots - Day by day minimises spots to nothing and you see the results everyday |
|---|---|
| Cons | - I've read a lot of reviews on this product and of most people complaining that it dries their face? It didn't really do that to my skin and I do NOT have oily skin its more dry everywhere except my nose, it just kept my skin feeling soft and matte. - Erm for some you could count the tingly feeling I get after I put the cream on my face as a con? Maybe |
| Bottom line | I rememberd the times I stayed awake on this web page looking at millions of reviews on millions of different products which have failed me continuously. I've never written a review and this is my 1st so I hope it helps! So I started getting REALLY horrendous acne 2 years ago, and I know some people exaggerate but in my case I had my family and friends telling me how bad my skin has gotten and how I look like a pizza face. First I had them all over the sides of my face, horrible puss filed spots that pained my face when I touched them and on my cheeks but everytime one went away another 2 popped up in the same area. Like a hero it didn't help that I popped & scratched them off, which they left horrible scars that were highlighted on my asian skin tone. So I started using products, clean and clear, garnier & lots of neautrogena products which I always thought they were making my skin better but never really got rid of the spots. I then decided to go to the docs who put me on Doxycycline in Jan which gave me COMPLETE flawless skin, but by April it slowly came back, & EVERYWHERE with a vengence including my forehead which never ever had a single spot! So I took 200mg instead of 100mg which made it better for a month then it came back but was hundreds of little spots everywhere. So I ordered Carleys smooth n clear from the US (for a natural long term treatment) and last week I went to the docs for a quick fix while my order is being shipped and he gave me Duac alongside the usual doxycycline. So on Mon I got Duac and its now Friday. Its mostly cleared me up within a space of 5 days. After reading all the reviews I thought it would take a couple of months, I really didn't expect it to work! My tiny flesh coloured tiny spots that are only seen in the light are minimising to nothing aswell! I had 2 big spots, 1s gone and 1s halved in size. I'm going to continue until my face is 100% clear it is 75% now, then I'm going swirch to Carleys as a long term n |

| Pros | - Cleared my severe acne within three months to just the occasional spots here and there. - Works fast (Longest time for a spot to leave my face is five days). - Eases the redness and makes them look less severe after a few hours. - You only need a thin layer where the spots are so the tube lasts pretty long. |
|---|---|
| Cons | - Can stain clothing. - Drys out skin if used on your whole face or used too often. - Cannot put make up over it. -Does not clear all of your skin up, only lessens the severity. |
| Bottom line | My skin began getting to a severe acne state last year during my exams, mainly to stress. And I had previously tried most if not all over the counter products, washes, scrubs, serums, creams, lotions, wipes, you name it, I tried it. Nothing worked. I went to a dermatologist, none of their products worked, only made my skin dry, and in effect worsened my acne. I then tried natural/herbal remedies and home treatments, still nothing worked. So... I get very down about my skin, I couldn't leave home without make up and I was reapplying it half way through the school day just to cover it. Eventually over the summer, I went to my doctor and she gave me a perscription for Duac, and told me for three months I had to try it once everyday at night before bed and wash off with warm water and a sensitive skin cleanser then a normal aloe vera moisturizer across my cheeks and around my mouth (I dry out easily there) . Within those three months my skin had a dramatic change and I had so much less redness and pain on my cheeks (thats where I get most of my spots). It's been nearly a year now, and I still get spots, I only put Duac where I need it and it takes a max of five days to clear a big spot. I still have about four or five spots on my face here and there, it's not a miricle worker because of horomones, dry sensitive skin, and my hair is always down and I touch my face a lot, but I found it helped me so much when nothing else could. |

| Pros | Helps keep acne in check Does not overly dry my skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | Does not completely clear face Dries in a layer on your skin that then peels off if you rub at your face STAINS CLOTHES A LOT!!!! |
| Bottom line | Duac helped control my acne initially, when it was moderate to severe. But it didn't really clear my face up, only kept my acne at a "light" status. It is kind of annoying about the peeling thing mentioned in cons. One other pro though (heh heh, a rhyme! :D) is that the Duac kind of conceals your acne. I mean, since it dries in a semi-opaque layer, it makes your acne look less red and less severe. Basically, I would recommend this to someone to keep their acne from getting out of control, but for me it didn't actually get rid of my acne. |
