AcneAwayFromMe from Philippines

| Pros | Gets rid of acne fast. Give it two days, and the pimple clears out! |
|---|---|
| Cons | It's pretty expensive here in the Philippines. 800 Pesos for 10 grams. THat's like around 16 dollars. But this tube lasts for two months. It dries up fast too, so make sure you cap it tightly. |
| Bottom line | It's very much effective. I use it in the morning. I'm a college student so I have classes in the morning. So I apply it during long breaks or in the afternoon when i no longer have classes. It is most effective when paired up with Differin or Benzac. But using water based benzac gave me better results. i've been using this combination prescribed by my dermatologist for over a month, and my skin has never been better. i have a bit of scars left, but they're slowly lighting up. :) Duac and Benzac are better than ProActiv. I swear! |

| Pros | Works pretty fast about 2 weeks and stops you getting big painfull spots! |
|---|---|
| Cons | Dries out skin in patches which shows up when you apply foundation or bronzer. Need to use a good oil free moisturizer! Also i do still get a few tiny spots. |
| Bottom line | I would 100% say give it a go for about 6 weeks and see if it works for you. Im so happy I tried it! I hope it keeps working and the acne doesn't come back! |

| Pros | Since I have been using it I have not had a single spot! Not having to spend lots of money on make-up to cover spots :) |
|---|---|
| Cons | Does dry out the skin in places but if you moisturise in the day and use the cream at night I've found that this problem is mostly sorted :) I put a bit of the cream on my back to keep that clear too but it bleached my top-it does warn you of this. |
| Bottom line | I did only have light acne, however, not being in my teens for a while now, I was fed up of teenage skin and fancied getting rid of pesky spots. Having used lots of products when i was younger and not getting the best results I was a little unsure as to whether this cream would actually help. However, after the first week of using this people were commenting about how good my skin looked (!) and I have not had a single spot since :) ! I, personally, can handle a bit of dry skin as I've always used facewash, moisturiser, etc from the doctor's for my extremely dry and sensitive skin. I'd just recommend getting a good moisturiser. Surely it's better to have a bit of dry skin than a spotty chin? |

| Pros | I put this on every night as spot treatment. It tingles at first, but i think that's because it's working. It can dry your skin out so use lotion, and your face maybe red for a while. But deal with it, it takes up to 3 months for full results. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Your skin may dry and get red. But it doesn't last forever, your skin just needs to get used to the medication. |
| Bottom line | It works as long as you are patient. Like all other things out there it takes time to show full results, But you should see some difference within a week. |

| Pros | can smooth out skin and decrease spots a bit, maybe. |
|---|---|
| Cons | The first night that i used this product my skin was really really itchy and sore. I woke up in the morning, my mum said that my skin had improved a bit, but was red. second day OUCH! My skin was severly dry, red and painful, i was in tears with pain |
| Bottom line | PLEEEEEASE DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN - YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! p.s it cost me nothing because of the NHS. |

| Pros | Definitely helps to dry out acne and pretty affordable |
|---|---|
| Cons | drys out skin quite a bit so a moisturizer is needed for problem areas |
| Bottom line | I would recommend duac for spot treatment so don't over apply or dryness will defiantly be an issue. I have oily skin and this stuff is somehow capable of drying it out. I've been using the it for over two years and it's worked better than everything else i have tried, and believe me... i've been through my fair share of acne product nightmares |

| Pros | This product works very fast with clear results after first 1-2days. This product is worth every penny! |
|---|---|
| Cons | First time usage my resort in "tingling" light burning sensation but this is just the cream drying out your face, feels odd for the first time. Price, if not on prescription, is quite hefty (£20-70cl) but its worth it. |
| Bottom line | Highly recommend, great product. Gets rid of acne, fast, efficient results. Price quite hefty but i promise you it is worth it. It is probably best to be prescribed to you by a doctor firstly: Because you can get it free on presciption and secondly: Because you may be allergic or your skin my have a reaction to it which te doctor can warn to you about before you take it. Overall if you have any form of acne --GO FOR IT solves hormonal spots aswell A MUST BUY! |

| Pros | Appeared to work |
|---|---|
| Cons | dried my skin, made my skin peel, made my skin bright red. Bleaches clothes. shelf life is short |
| Bottom line | It seemed to work the first time around, however after it just irritated my skin. Tried using it less often as doctor advised, tried using less each time. Made my skin hot and red and one day i had to take aloe vera to work with me to soothe my skin it was so bad |
