| Pros: | It works...
Doesn't HAVE to be taken with food even though that's what it says. my doc told me as long as you drink plenty of water with it you'll be fine. |
| Cons: | can't be taken without water....my doc told me that his son tried to take this without water and it was REALLY bad... |
| Bottom Line: | I like this product. I had bad acne (i walked into the doc's surgery for a cold and walked out with a prescription for this) after only a few days i noticed a difference in my skin, it had cleared almost completely on my left cheek and was clearing my forehead and the rest of my face gradually but reasonably quickly. I did have a sideaffect of a bit of nausea and breathlessness ( but i think that was because i was dumb enough to go to karate with tonsilitus) |

| Pros: | Will help to clear up mild forms of acne or acne that is not very persistent. For me,it was most effective as a preventative measure. It cleared up some of my acne and kept the left side of my face clear. Also, gives skin a beautiful, sandy texture. |
| Cons: | Doesn't necessarily clear your skin, especially if you have persistent and/or severe acne. Only works on the bacteria part of breakouts leaving oily skin to fend for itself. Also, it will make you nauseous. I would take it after dinner. |
| Bottom Line: | If you have stubborn acne, don't get your hopes up. It will help somewhat, but in no way will it totally clear you up. For those of you who escape hardcore acne and simply have some flare-ups, this will definitely do the job for you. Also, as I mentioned above, it really does make the texture/color of your skin look beautiful. Though I still have breakouts on the right side of my face and forehead, the left side looks absolutely fantastic. |

| Cons: | Does not clear up acne....only the bigger pimples....Using an antibiotic pill may make your immune system weak. ( Your imune system may rely on the antibiotic to attack dangerous viruses, instead of attacking them itself.) |
| Bottom Line: | I have used this stuff in a 100mg dosage every single night for many years. It DOES NOT work.I have used it for almost a decade. My acne has not improved. My face was never clear since the day I turned 12. (I am now 20) I tried out 2 grams of Pantothenic Acid (B5) per day. And It worked... |

| Pros: | I have been taking it for 3 weeks. 100mg twice daily. I am already starting to see a difference. My face is still very broken out. But there are some spots that are starting to feel smooth. |
| Cons: | I have to take with a small meal, or else it will upset my stomach. Also can't drink milk for an hour before or after taking it, which bothers me because I drink a lot of milk. |

| Pros: | worked great after a few weeks... almost 98% clear when nothing else worked for me!! |
| Cons: | DO NOT stop taking them! your face with break out worse than before.. i got about 10 inflamed bright red zits on my forehead about 5 days after stopping because my prescriptions ran out. EAT BEFORE TAKING or you will get sick and throw up! |

| Pros: | ive been taking doxy since the 9th feb (so about 6 weeks) and my skin's slightly better. the clear areas of my skin and t zone are perfect. after the first 2 weeks my skin imporved heaps.. but then it went a bit downhill again. |
| Cons: | there isnt much noticeable difference overall and my skin is quite dry and sensitive.. |
| Bottom Line: | anyone know how long u gt to wait till u see much difference? and shud i stick at it? im taking 100mg once a day which i think is a pretty low dose... also wen im in the sun my skin seems to burn more easily and im scaring quite a bit :S. ive heard this works for other ppl and its cheap so its worth a shot but i'd say stick at it... |
