Pros: works wonders, after taking this for 3 months i've not had major breakouts Cons: nausea, and sometimes vomiting. you have to eat something before you take this. Bottom Line: works great, but just eat something prior to taking the pill. Recommended: Yes Usage: Molika has used this item for a few months. Pros: Cleared up my face in less than a week! Did not give me nausea, diarrhea or any other side effects. Cons: Dry flaky skin where old cysts were but I think that will go away. My face is red due to sunlight sensitivity. Bottom Line: This pill has been my salvation. Of course its been a very small amount of time but I'm optimistic. My derm was a godsend. Pros: It isw affordable, thats about it. Cons: It hasn't clear my acne at all. I thought this would work but again FAIL! I am switching dermatologists and let's see if this new one can help me, again this drug has not helped me at all and I get terrible nausea and headaches from it. Not worth it. Bottom Line: Switch to other medications or doctors, this medication did not help me at all. Recommended: No Usage: Gio has used this item for a few months. Pros: Cleared up big pimples, and most acne. Cons: Left me with little bumps, gave me a stomach ache TAKE WITH FOOD! Bottom Line: i give this credit for clearing up most of my acne and my big pimples. But it did leave me with little tiny acne bumps under the skin. I used this product for 6 months and then was able to go off it and now i use just cleansing stuff and my face is clear. Recommended: Yes Usage: Jasmine has used this item for a few months. Pros: Once a day Cons: Doesn't work as well as Cephalexin Bottom Line: Tried Doxy, upset my stomach to the pint of bleeding. It didn't work as well as Cephalexin. Pros: I just started taking doxycline about two weeks ago Cons: i have seen any real results but then again i have only been on it for 2 weeks Bottom Line: I tried differen and cylindagel together and it did very little for me so my derm. perscribed doxycline. As well as taking doxycline i am still on differen and cylindagel. They said that i shouldnt see results until the 6 week point. I was reading other reviews and it seems like everyone gets sick from this medicine, but i will take it on an empy stomach and it is fine, besides on the bottle it says take on and empty stomach and dont eat for 1-2 hours. I also dont understand how everyone got this medicine for so cheap, i have insurence and the dema. gave me a coupon and it was still 25 dollars for 30 pills Usage: Lauren has used this item for a few weeks. Pros: I have been on this for 6 months, and I'd say this has improved my complextion by 95%!!! I have noticed a HUGE difference in the number and size of my zits. I no longer worry about a huge breakout before "my time of the month"!! Cons: A little worried about the long term affects of this pill. Not sure that its safe to be on an antibiotic for a long period of time. Soon I hope to start a family, and my doctor informed me this shouldn't be taken while pregnant. Bottom Line: I would very much recommend this to anyone. I was also prescribed Differin to use at the same time and it has worked GREAT. I only have one more month left on my prescription and will talk to my dermatologist about my other options as I would like to have children soon. I'm not one who likes to take pills everyday, so hopefully they can give me a topical gel that will have the same affect. Fingers crossed!!! Pros: Cleared up my acne very well. I'm also using Duac. My supply of pills has been gone for about a week and (see cons) Cons: my acne is back after stopping taking the pill, full force. I have seven at one time right now, which is more than I've gotten the whole time I was on it. Must continue use for results. Sometimes makes me feel sick, threw up once. Bottom Line: I didnt know which medication was making my skin clear up, Duac or Doxy, but I see that now I've stopped taking Doxy, my acne is back. I think the combination of them together really helps. I've noticed that while on Doxy and Duac, my breakouts were smaller, lasted for much less time, and were less frequent. I'm going to go back on the pill. Honestly, I will take them for the rest of my life if I have to to clear my acne, but I dont know if thats safe. I dont see how they expect you to keep seeing results after stopping with it, that just doesnt make sense to me. Note: I dont know how much it costed, I didnt pay for me, my mom did. Pros: Clears acne within a week and a half Cons: Make my stomach slightly upset with food. Makes me vomits uncontrollably without food. Bottom Line: Please Please take this with something i stopped taking it for a while and I decided to start taking it again and this time with out (dumb) food and within 15 min I was vomiting all over the place! Pros: IT WORKS, made me skin really nice when everything else made me look red, inflammed, and gross Cons: i took it on an empty stomach, then ate dinner and thre it all up. i had to take it with food or else i got really sick Bottom Line: I don't have to wear foundation anymore because of Doxy. I hate that I have to rely on a pill to make my skin nice, but it's really worth it because I no longer leave my house feeilng insecure or embarassed about my skin.
