Pros: clears up blind pimples fast and cystic acne . Cons: nausea take with food dont take with antiacids or milk or iron tabelts it can cause stomach pains and bowel upsets also known to make joint pains worst if you have arthritis or a auto immune disease like lupus. Bottom Line: im 20 yr old female sick of acne would recomend giving this a go my doctor told me it takes aleast 3 monthes to truly work ive been on it for a month so still waitimg to see. Pros: It is affordable for those people like me without insurance. Cons: It causes headaches and nausea (sometimes even taken with food). Does not work well for clearing up my acne. Bottom Line: I have been using this product for more than a year and I have seen very little improvement in my acne. I noticed more of an improvement by being on it than being off of it which is the only reason I continue to take it. I have no insurance and it is more affordable than other products out there so the little bit of control I get with it helps, but not by much. I still have at the very least four blemishes at any given time consistently. I would recommend another treatment if you can afford it. Pros: Reduces occurrence of pimples and blackheads a bit Cons: Red sunburnt skin Makes oral contraceptive use risky Bottom Line: The redness wasnt worth the pimple reduction. My doctor said it didn't work particularly well for me and put me onto retin-a which then burnt my skin off and plasma was like leaking from my face and all of my clothing was covered in white skin cell dust. Pros: Works quickly - it's doing a great job in clearing up the acne on my back - upper shoulders and face Cons: Makes you sensitive to sunlight - and you MUST eat food before you take this or you will probably start to vomit.. it is explained on the container Bottom Line: from what i have experianced so far it's working very well on my acne and has improved the overall condition of my skin Recommended: Yes Usage: Lana has used this item for about a week. Pros: Cheap, reduces size and duration of nodular acne, relatively quick acting. Cons: Effects don't last very long after ceasing treatment. Bottom Line: Much more potent (smaller dose and quicker onset of results) than other cycline antibiotics, i.e. tetra- and minocycline. Generic tabs cost very little. When used with a benzoyl peroxide cream and salicylic acid cleanser it works well. Recommended: Yes Usage: Cedric has used this item for about a month. Pros: i have only been taking it for 5 days but i havent gotten any new zits since i started it. Cons: makes my stomach hurt a bit for a while after taking it. but the first time i took it i took it without food and then went to school and was puking all over the place (bad idea) and sometimes gives me headaches. Pros: I had only minor acne which only showed up on my cheeks and chin but. cysts started to form so I told my doctor to prescribe me something! I noticed major improvements within the first week but (see con) Cons: My acne did a turn for the worse! Haven't had this bad of a breakout ever. Hopefully it's just running its course and it'll all clear up soon!! It's only been a month so I'm praying.. I'm also taking differin too.. Bottom Line: I agree with taking with the food. The first day I took it without food and I was food.. next day... HORRIBLE!!! Very bad Nausea and threw up. ~_~ Recommended: Yes Usage: Anthony has used this item for about a month. Pros: Mild reduction of some breakouts and redness. Generic was cheap. Cons: Didn't feel it worked too well. Can't take dairy products within 2 hours before or after. Bottom Line: Used in combination with Retin A. My skin hasn't cleared up too much at all. I've been doing readin about the tetracycline family, and have learned that p acnes (the bacteria that we want dead) have evolved to be resistant to this particular family of anti-bactirias. THis makes since since my dad had bad acne and took anti-biotics as a teen as well. But, the genirc (got mine from Target) was only like six bucks for a months supply, so I guess why not take it. Pros: i've seen a great significant difference in size and redness of my acne while using doxy, differen, and duac together. its been almost a month and i'm loving the results. i had moderate to severe acne but it is working VERY EFFECTIVELY! Cons: i tend to get a little nauseated a little after taking the pill prior to eating 2 hours before hand. Bottom Line: since i was a teenager i was struggling with moderate to severe acne on my face chest back and even buttox. i used Accutane which cleared me up for a few years but suddenly they all came back again. i tried different topical ointments and antibiotics which did not work for me until my derm. prescribed me Doryx, Differin, and Duac. let me tell you.. its almost been 1 month and my face has significantly changed for the better! no more bad break outs, the cysts are no longer there, and my face does not appear swollen anymore from the huge pimples that i had. i love it and i would recommend it to anybody that is in dire need for a solution to their acne problems. very cheap too! Pros: first i am 25 years old stil having acne.i had used this doxy. before 3 months for 1 week bcos of acne one or two, mainly for redness & inflammation. it make my face worst. Cons: vomiting, tiredness,nausea, dry skin and making face to wrinkle and scary and worst.. Bottom Line: I had used this doxy. before 3 months for 1 week bcos of one or two acne on my face mainly for redness & inflammation. It make small acne into very cysts big acne. I taken on night and when saw my face on mirror in morning my two small acne become very big cysts acne with full pledged. still i does not lose hope. I tried for one week my face full of big acne i stopped taking this medicine. Dont to be over confidence on this doxy... i also used azithromycin .no antibiotic is suitable for me.usually i have 1 or 2 acne but my face with many zits, scar, pigmentation,redness..Now i lose hope on taking antibiotic..Now i just apply fresh neem leaves paste in my head, face, neck & shoulders wait for 5 minutes then i rinse with water.I strongly believe in this method with 2 days i saw dramastic result on my face.. no need to take antibiotic and make me to feel sick.Neem is antibacterial, anti fungal and anti viral.Permanent solution for acne.Dont masturbate for 2 week to see results.
