everybody is differ .. for me no go ..

I used this a few years ago and it worked wonderfully! I got so many compliments on my skin! However, I then went off of it because I had been on it for a few months. While at first my skin still looked good, then I broke out so badly for the next couple of months. I went back on it again 3 months ago, thinking it would have the same effect as it did the first time and get rid of my acne again. However, although it did work for the first two months, it seemed to lose its effectiveness or I simply became immune to it. Either way, it stopped working and now I am on a different medication which seems to be working for now.

for taking this pill everyday (I've been taking it for about 7 months) and the side effects gotten, this is not worth taking. I believe it stopped the huge cystic acne and controlled my face a little, but not enough to recommend this anti-biotic.

This didn't work for me at all. It seems to work for some people, but I guess it depends on your body. I've tried it a few times with no success, and each time I started it again I would get an attack of thrush within 48 hours.

I've been on Doryx for 1 year now. It has kept me 90%-99% clear. Now its starting to wear off, just as my derm said it would. I'm starting to break out again.

I was on this antibiotic for 2 months. My forehead cleared up, but the rest of my face was breaking out pretty badly. I'm also using Atralin gel at the same time, so the breaking out or purging was probably caused by or with the gel, and not the antibiotic itself.

I've only been using this for about a week now in conjuction with Ziana and honestly, my skin has been getting WORSE. I have horrible breakouts now that I have been put on this regimen and after reading these reviews I am seriously nervous about continuing my regimen.

helps inflammation from cystic acne and any other type of acne. the only thing ive noticed is my pores are a little more clogged than normal but im not sure if its the prescription or other products my dermatalogist has given me but other than that only good things have come out of it!

I would never recommend this to anyone. My dermatologist did not tell me this was a temporary solution. When my acne cleared while on Doryx, I thought it was permanent and I was so happy. About a month after I stopped taking Doryx, my acne returned 20 times worse and that is not an exaggeration. It ruined my face and now I am uncertain of what to do because my face will not return to its state prior to taking Doryx. All antibiotics are temporary and your acne may return worse, like mine did.
