Pros Clearer Skin, birth control
Cons I have noticed the heavy legs, which doesnt sound good, other than that, no problems really, except the price compared to other pills is a little high, i pay 47$ a pack, i used to pay 5$ at health unit for Trycyclen
Bottom line I like what it is doing for my skin, but i know its not good for me, it says right on the pack info, do not use for birth control alone causes blood clots, thats scary
Price paid $47.00

Pros None
Cons didnt help skin, felt bloated and major mood swings
Bottom line i have been on Diane for almost a year now and ive seen no change in my skin.A couple of my friends also tried it and didnt notice anything at all.I think if you are about to try diane to serioudly reconsider...not only is it not approved in the U.S.A but it not the best pill out there..My friends have gone on tri cyclen lo and proactiv and their skin is amazing..i gave diane a good shot and didnt work im finishing this pack then im done with it!i seriously think you should reconsider and consider other alternatives.

Pros Cleared up my skin beautifully....my skin was glowing.
Cons Massive hair loss, irritable, weight gain, lethargic.
Bottom line The most distressing side effect was my hair loss which became noticable about four months into taking this pill. I didn't realise at the time that any of my problems were a result of Diane 35 so I continued taking it for another few months but after yet another shower and holding another fist full of hair I decided that it must be the Diane 35 so there and then I stopped taking this pill. Within a week or so my mood lifted noticeably, I had more energy and I wasn't so irritable with everybody. My hair loss has eased up and I can breath a sigh of relief. I hope it grows back thick again. I can tell you, for a woman to start losing her hair is among one of the most distressing things out and until it happens to you personally you wouldn't begin to understand. My pimples have returned but not as bad as they were before as I have changed my diet and I take suppliments. I would rather have a few pimples than no hair and depression anyday. I curse the day I was prescribed this nasty pill.

Pros clear skin and fuller breasts, regular menstrula cycle
Cons heavy weight gain within few months and headaches.
Bottom line Ive had terrible acne since i was a teenager, but when i started using diane, I didnt expect it to work as i gave up on ALL acne products. but within a couple of months my friends an co-workers were commenting on my skin and how clear it's become! but of course, i gained 10 kgs in a space of just 2 months!! my advice is to drink plenty of water as the pill retains about 80% of water in your body.it didnt make me depressed at all because Im generally a positive person. bottom line: it cleared my skin!!!!!

Pros Clear skin, regular/light & short periods, less pain, overall i've lost weight,
Cons Migrains, no sex drive,
Bottom line I suffered really bad acne all over my body, including my back, chest, shoulders, neck and face. So i started using Diane about 2 1/2 years ago. It took a few months, but it worked great. I was so impressed on how my skin improved. But about a month ago, it seems like my face is started to flare up again. It seems like it stopped working. I don't know why. Maybe i've been on it too long and my body has adapted to it or maybe the regimen has changed?

Pros Preonception
Cons Weight gain, headaches, heavy legs, restless legs.
Bottom line I been on it for 8 months, the last 3 combined with accutane, It didn;t work for clearing up my skin but accutane has done the trick so far and I was advised to continue with diane35 for preconception. The problem is I have gain 10lbs in two months and my legs feel heavy and restless sometimes during the night. I get headaches often and I guess I don;t feel like having sex that often anymore wich I just realized reading the ratings. I'll ask my doctor to change me to Jazmin, I hread this one actually helps you with your weight.
Accutane has work, I am in low dose, but the secondary effects if you get pregnant are terrible so I feel I should use preconception pills to be responsible about that.

Pros Cleared skin
Cons weight gain, no sex drive, tenderness of breasts, very dry skin and hair, dry eyes, my astigmatic seems to get worsen, spotting
Bottom line I went on thid pill 2 months now. although my acne is much much better (noting has worked before) but I've started seeing soem side effects. what concerns me most is my condition of my eyes , eventhough I've not been that very busy these days (reading/computers) but I have really uncomfortable eyes (red, itchy, blurry vision). Although my period is much lighter but I have vaginal bleeding for half of the month which is very frustrating. I've also got lots of fat on my bum and thighs.
My doctor said I'll get my acne back once I get off this drug so really don't see any reason to continue Diane.

Pros lighter flow, less pain
Cons Worse acne, stretchmarks, headaches, bigger boobs (in my case it's not needed)depression
Bottom line I've been on Diane 35 for going on two months now and not much has changed for the better. I would swap period pains for even worse acne any day!! They reckon 3-4 months before seeing improvement but this is quite ridiculous!! Anyone else with me here?
Price paid $50.00

Pros Clear skin, regular/light periods.
Cons Rashes, Moody, MIGRAINS, sore breasts, lareger breasts, major weight gain (10kg),hairloss, dryness of skin and a major loss of sex drive- justto meantion a few :(
Bottom line Bottom line, i didn't realise that the pill did this to women..well not until my partner started researching into my incredible loss of sex drive. Then things started to click all thoes rashes, pains and mood swings. Why didn't my doctor warn me???

But then again i find myself wondering if maybe i should deal with these 'symptoms' so i can have great skin and regular periods?!
I have also started looking into other forms of contraception only to discover that many of them cause headaches, weight gain and ache...is there no form of contraception that works without these 'symptoms'? Or am i asking too much?
Price paid $20.00
