| Bottom line | The first week i took Diane35 i felt absolutely sick to my stomach whenever i ate. Though that symptom passed, it has been replaced by bloating and weight gain. That also doesn't help the severe mood swings it has given me even though i had never experienced any form of depression or moodiness in the past. It almost makes me feel like a different person emotionally. It did however make my skin nice and clear, but the emotional distress and body image outweigh the nice skin and big boobs. I say try something else. |

| Bottom line | This was the best birth control pill I found for my cystic acne. (I've had three courses of Accutane - at age 18, 25, and 30- and my cystic acne would still come back just as bad as before about a year after each treatment). It didn't seem to affect my emotions negatively like other bcps (Yasmin and Yaz were the worst ones I tried). But no sex drive and yeast infections are bad side effects so I have had to get off it whenever I have a boyfriend. I know people with acne can be desperate for a solution - so it's worth a try but watch to see if you get bad side effects. |

| Bottom line | I used this drug for over 5 years, I love it. Please remember- it works differently for each person. It worked well for me. Never experienced any depression, headaches or any bad side effects. The only thing was the very first time I started taking it, my breasts felt tender and grew 2 sizes bigger, but I was quite happy about it. Just remember it takes about 5-6 months when your spots will start disappearing , oh what a fantastic feeling! I never had any hair loss either.After stopping Diane-35 I had to cancel all the things that caused my acne-just in case.Because you have spots because of what you eat( in most cases).So, i had to stop eating all the sweets, my favourite cakes, bread, pasta, salty/ spicy food. But it was quite difficult, my spots were back several months later and I went back to Diane 35. And they are gone once again... |

| Bottom line | I have been on it for about a year, it did everything that a birth control does, it did not HELP my skin per se, but it did keep the condition of my skin the way it was, however when i went off of it, my face exploded and i am currently in search of another solution. |

| Bottom line | controlled my acne within fifth-sixth month on treatment. but the bottom line is it may control your acne but the side effects outweighs it a lot. i have to leave diane-35 after taking it for about 16 months because it was causing terrible dryness and mood swings which were not worth. once you leave diane-35 the story doesn't end here..for about three-four months my skin was clear but after the fifth month it started to get worse day by day...and now the condition is i suffer from pigmentation which is caused by birth control pills....skin started to break out again... "NEVER EVER CONSIDER TAKING DIANE-35 EVEN HOW WORSE YOUR ACNE IS" |

| Bottom line | Hi, I've been on this pills for about 2 months for BC. I'm married with 2 kids and my doctor prescibe me with this for BC. I had normal skin condition, so I dun see any changes on my skin conditions, so far so good. No other cons except for slight nauseas and headache first seven days of usage. Was hungry most of the time, but guess it could be controlled if you had your meals right. However, i had terrible breakthrough bleeding!! Have anyone had this same problem!! The pills is to be started on the 1st day of your menses and my menses has been continuous ever since, its normal flow not even light. I've check with my doctor and she want me to continue for 3 months before calling an end to it. I really hope the breakthrough bleeding will stop real soon and so I do not need to try other BC method. |

| Bottom line | my doctor suggested me to use those pills for my acne problem for over years.i tried almost everything except roaccutane and they didnt work on my skin.acnes came & came again.they were too stubborn even more than me.then i used diane 35 for 3 months and now i am using 4th box, it is obvious that my skin is more clear than before and not too many pimples, just before my period one or two appear but quickly recover.also my oily hair become normal and it is light feeling not to be dirty for over 3 days without bathing=)yes those pills making bad effect on my psychological health, simple example is i am crying sometimes while watching stupid soap operas, my emotinal balance is not very balanced=)but although these disadvantagous i am happy without lots of pimples on my skin and it has not oily looking anymore.additionally, if u dont exercise properly or drink special teas for overliquid holding in ur body with those pills u gain weight..of course every people have different mechanism and different reactions, but you have to be patient and use those for less 3 months and ask doctor again with the adv and disadv, and see the results. |

| Bottom line | I had beautifully clear skin until about 2.5 years ago when I first started getting pimples. My so-called 'acne' has been getting progressively worse ever since. I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years and I finally invested in an oral contraceptive to put both our minds at ease. My doctor recommended I use Diane35 to clear up the pimples and red spots on my face, especially around my T-Zone. I have only been using Diane35 for about 3 weeks but I have not experienced any of the severe and scary side effects that some of these reviews have pointed out. My skin hasn't started to clear up yet, but my doctor said I might have to wait up to 3 months until I see results. After reading a lot of theses reviews, I am kind of terrified of the day I decide to stop using Diane35 - severe hair thinning and hair loss, worse acne than prior to taking the pill are 2 things I do not want to happen! Although this contraceptive is one of the more expensive brands, I have faith and will keep using it. If it doesn't do anything for my skin, purely as an oral contraceptive. |
