| Cons: | Slight weight gain, lowered libido |
| Bottom Line: | I don't really give a crap what I have to forgo for clear skin
I do think Diane has effected my moods somewhat including libido- but I can guarantee my libido and moods would be MUCH worse if I had acne
Diane has given me dependance and confidence I would not have otherwise said
I have at least 7 friends also on Diane and we all swear by it wholeheartedly |

| Pros: | Cleared up my skin after first pack of pills, bigger boobs, weight loss |
| Cons: | Very upset stomach after taking this pill for 4 days. Upset stomach lasted about 4 days. |
| Bottom Line: | I have been suffering with cystic acne for over 4 years. I have been on every kind of oral antibiotic my derm. could think of. This is the only thing to work. I have just started my second pack of pills and not only are my BIG pimples gone, the little ones are getting better too. I still get the odd pimple but not like before. I got bigger boobs almost immediately and i have lost 5 pounds. Considering it was the holidays, the 5 pound weight loss is a lot. I only weighed 130 anyway. |

| Pros: | I have been on Diane for 3 months for contraception. It ha been really good for my skin, although its still not immaculately clear |
| Cons: | Dr told me to take the pill at night (I have been on other OCP's and always taken them in the morning)because Diane can make you feel really sick when you first start. I have had really dsturbed sleep since i started. |
| Bottom Line: | I am generally a happy and relaxed person, but cannot sleep! Is anyone else getting insomnia on this pill? |

| Cons: | didn't do much for skin, put on weight |
| Bottom Line: | I have been on this drug for 5 months, and my skin hasn't cleared. i wouldn't recommend it especially because i have read so many entries that say it can cause infertility plus the fact its banned in the us. I dont know it just sounds unsafe |

| Pros: | Clear, super soft skin, less facial hair, weight loss, bigger breasts (as if I really needed that!), less body odor, less abdominal pain, etc. less menstral cramps and way less bleeding. Regular periods. |
| Cons: | Stomach upset so I take it 2 hrs before bedtime. Not really a con for me since I always go to bed at that time. Not sure about periods being light or heavy. |
| Bottom Line: | My acne started improving by my second month on this. My bust started getting bigger almost immediately (I was already a D34 before I started, so hey, I didn't need the boost but my boyfriend sure loves it!)
I've been on this 7 months. The first 4 months my period were awesome. Light for once, and I got my regular 28 days (yay!) however the past 2 periods have been my normal horrible period but I believe this is extreme stress from school/home.
I started this for fasial hair, acne, frequent heavy periods. It's helped tremendously. However I have hypothyroid from before this and it didn't improve, so I will need to start therapy for that as well. I love this pill but all pills depend on your body type.
A lot of the symptoms I see here are symptoms of hypothyroid which is often not diagnosed properly. I would suggest seeing an endocrinologist to get that sorted. Don't blame a great pill for hidden hormone probs. Chances are if one hormone is out of whack the w |

| Pros: | Gained a more shapely body and cleared up my acne. |
| Cons: | The sudden weight gain gave me stretch marks on my thighs and they're here to stay.
Intense PMS-Wild mood swings. I'm off the pill now and my mood during PMS is much better. |

| Pros: | this pill was the only thing to really clear up my moderate-severe acne. i was amazed with the results. it also lightened my period, and my cramps were gone! I'd been on accutane, tetricyclene, and so many others , and I had reccomended this pill. |
| Cons: | I've begun to realize that since taking this pill,(3 yrs)Ive gained 30 lbs.It may be related som to food habits, but all in all, after talking to others i'm sure its keeping my weight on. I also have vaginal dryness, lack of libido, and depression. |
| Bottom Line: | Basically, try other things before this pill, and if you do go on this pill for acne, which it was a miracle for, dont be a fool like me and stay on it for 3 years because im starting to realize that its made such a negative impact on my well being, my depression has to do with my body image, the fact that i feel so unattractive. Other girls have told me that the second they got off diane, they could loose the weight. Its also costly compared to other pills (about 30 bucks a pack). Because my symptoms were not obviously connected, it took a while to realize that diane 35 has caused these things. Ive decided to go off of it alltogether and see how my body reacts. I cant remember the last time I had an orgasm. Its terrible. I am afraid of getting bad acne again but at this point- Im willing to try something else again. I think its a smaller price to pay. I'd reccomend this pill for 6-8 months, but once your acne gets better, you should get off of it. |

| Bottom Line: | As a mum in her 30's I was sick of zits and my Dr suggested I try Diane-35. The first 6 months were great, clear skin, no noticible mood changes. Then my moods and depression got worse each month. I went off it and I couldn't believe how my moods and my sex drive improved. BUT...by the 3rd month I was back to zits big time. I had 2 packs left so I have gone back on it...halfway thru first pack and my moods are terrible...waiting for the zits to go. I will go back to the Dr to find something else. |

| Cons: | weird intense food cravings, increased PMS, heart palpatations in 1st three months (could have been anxiety, did little for acne, great for backne though! |

| Bottom Line: | I've started with it 3 1/2 years ago cause i had body hair in atypical regions for a woman (not very thick or ostensibly visible, but still bothering - especially in my teenage years); I also had a mild form of acne. In a few months I felt and looked much more feminine - the pimples were more or less gone, the skin seemed much less harsher, brighter, and smoother, my breasts increased, I put some weight, small improvements concerning the body hair, etc.
While I was on it, I've confronted a lot with depression (I had some bouts of depression also before taking it), inability to concentrate(I used to be a very quick and focused thinker, great at problem-solving), tiredness, gain weight, limb swelling and pain - obviously related with the drug; recently I stopped taking it; immediately I developed an ovarian cyst and I put 5-6 kg in one month around the waist; after two months a I also got terrible acnea;
I'm much better now, but I have to take it again because of the cyst :( |
