Pros: With continued use, cleared acne very well. Cons: Migraines (increasing over time), irritability, moodiness, weight gain (fuller cup size (not desired nor required), lowered libido Bottom Line: I Used Diane-35 for over a year continuously. My skin cleared beautifully. However I stopped because of migraines occuring with increasing severity over time. But the acne came back. I have now re-started and am monitoring my diet,etc..since clear skin is a big plus for me despite the negatives. I'm still weighing everything though. I'm just a few days into starting and I've noticed signicant bloating and weight gain. The migraines which had stopped with discontinued use came back very mildly (but like I said it increases over time. I suspect I may have to discontinue permanently this time as I'd rather be managing acne but alive, than an acne free corpse (the migraines, irritability, etc are quite horrid). Since I've spent considerable time on and off this pill I don't think it's the best choice for me - clear skin notwithstanding. Pros: Cleared skin well. A few hormonal pimples here and there. Cons: I decided to go off this pill to see whether my skin would get worse or not as I had been on Diane since my teenage years. I was shocked that I no longer had mood swings (I previously had no idea why I was cranky all the time)and my libido improved Bottom Line: Even though some of my pimples have come back, the fact that I am much happier, less anxious and less moody means so much more Recommended: No Price Paid: 45.00 Acne severity: moderate Was this comment helpful? Pros: Perfect complexion, less greasy skin, and lighter hair strands. i love the effect it gives to my skin. I look younger and brighter. It makes me feel more confident all the time. Cons: So far so good. Bottom Line: I recommend this to all women who have hormonal imbalances, acne problems, and of course who are insecure with how they look. Pros: reduces oily skin, reduces menstrual cramps, lighter cycles. Cons: headaches, sensitive boobs (and pain nearing my cycle) Bottom Line: i have been using it for 2 months and my acne have gotten alot worst...like alot!!!! Pros: cleared my painful cystic acne completely! it took three months, my acne got worse during the first month. Cons: i have gone up two dress sizes and im wondering if its going to stop, im hungry all the time! i was super moody for the 1st month, but not now after 6 months i feel great, im just very voluptuous. Bottom Line: warning to those who struggle to keep their weight down. being acne free is amazing! it works. Recommended: Yes Usage: dee has used this item for a few months. Pros: bigger breasts, no more "backne" Cons: you get very irritable and moody and over sensitive near you period. a few pimples here and there but i am also rediculously stressed most of the time. Bottom Line: i really like this type of birth control. ive tried a few brands and this one seems to be the best for me. but thats just me. I didnt gain any weight or get blood clots.
