Pros: Vy good for clearing acne and smoothen skin. Quick result (1 month) Cons: A bit too expensive and slight headache & gain weight. Bottom Line: I found that Diane 35 is perfectly good for solving acne problem that gives fast result. Besides, it helps smoothen my skin and improve my skin texture. However, I was made to understand that this product has to be discontinued after the 4th month. Is this true ? What is the effect if we continue even after that ? And, if we take a break after the 4th month, when can it be started back ? Perhaps not for acne but a better skin texture. I was actually very happy that I have found a good product that I do not wish to stop taking it. Recommended: Yes Usage: Clara Chiang has used this item for a few months. Pros: regulated period and lightened it Cons: acne was the worse I've ever had moody! expensive Bottom Line: If you want to be happy and have clear skin i recommend not using this. Pros: Clearer skin all over, skin less oily Cons: Price is expensive, frequent headaches Bottom Line: I have been using diane 35 for 4 months and my skins is clearer than it's been in a long time. After 3 months my skin was still pretty bad so I was skeptical but after the 4th month my skin is clear but still has acne scars, my back and chest are perfectly clear but i get occasional pimples on my face but not as bad as before Recommended: Yes Usage: Deana has used this item for a few months. Pros: It cleared up the cysts Cons: No libido, headaches, weight gain, depression Bottom Line: I have been on & off this for 7 years now, it DOES make you gain weight. And quite rapidly. I am naturally aeound 43-44kg but whilst on it will fluctuate up 2-3kgs (on a small person is quite noticeable). The lack of sex drive is the one that has really affected my relationship. My boyfriend is wonderful & we try hard but most of the time it's just not happening. I will credit this drug though for clearing up the bout of cystitis I had. I have PCOS & the first symptom was after going 18years without even one pimple suddenly in 2 weeks I had dozens of cysts.... diane took a while but got rid of them, everytime I had gone off it they have come back. Pros: clear glowing acne free skin, bigger boobs, birth control Cons: mood swings and price Bottom Line: It was recommended to me by my doctor since i was 16 for my irregular cycles. It really works to regulate my period plus they are way lighter and less painful now. After a couple of months my acne was gone and to avoid it coming back i usually take it on and off, at least stop it off for like 3mths every year. This is the best product ever. Pros: It used to clear up my face... Cons: None Bottom Line: I was on Diane35 for a good 7 years and my skin was model perfect. It was gorgeous! Then I lost my health insurance and figured since my face was so clear I could go on a different pill. I was off the Diane for only about 3 months and my face looked horrible!! So I went back on the Diane although it is super expensive, I'm on my 4th pack now and my face is still really bad :( I also started using Proactiv about 1 month ago and no change. I'm getting scared that it won't clear up again. It seems hopless. I really hope that the Diane will kick back in soon and clear up my face again. Pros: Bigger Boobs, Contraceptive, (gradually) clearning up my skin Cons: Depressive - caused me to become antisocial, paranoid, loss of self worth Bottom Line: I have not noticed any weight gain. And I suffer from PCOS so I was prescribed diane mainly to treat my acne. I've been on it for 2 months and I have noticed that my skin has improved. However, it still has a while to go before my skin will be completely clear. I have active acne that is "deep", ie it has been there for a very long time. My doctor told me that skin takes a few months to completely heal so it will probably be 2-3 more months before my skin is completely clear. The only con is that it has affected my moods. Pros: larger breasts, shorter periods, clear skin, birth control! Cons: mood swings, less sex drive Bottom Line: I took this for a year and then went off because it had cleared my skin up totally. Pros: has fuller looking breasts since being on it, gained a bit of weight (because i needed it) Cons: had no improvements within the first two packs (21 pills per pack). had acne flare up. ive never had this many on my face EVER before. it was so much better than when i was just using topical gels Bottom Line: i have one more pack to go. i shall see how it goes. Pros: Cleared up skin, larger breasts, non oily skin, better complextion(smoother) Cons: Crazy bad mood swings (crying randomly and getting mad), tiny bit of weight gain, cost for me Bottom Line: This really worked on my skin. It good a good three months to kick in but my skin looks ten times better 9 months later....im kind of scared to switch to a lower dosage of birth control just because of the fact of my acne might come back and all that hard work would go to waste.
