| Pros: | general improvement in skin and texture |

| Bottom Line: | all birth controls have been very different for me, and i am assuming that results are not the same for everyone, but this contraceptive is improving my skin when others have not. i did not start seeing a difference until the end of my third package (3 months), my acne is clearing up, and i am assuming that it will only get better since both my family doctor and dermatologist say it is not uncommon have no results until 3 - 6 months. i have not experienced any mood swings, which is to say a lot because i had major problems with birth controls like tricyclen lo. i really have not experienced any other side effects than those that come with any birth control (any sort of breast enlargement has been no different between say marvelon and diane).
TIP: although i have no expirience with them yet, i am considering buying diane online. you fax online pharmacies your prescription and it seems legitimate. I pay $40 in the drug store and you can get 3 packages for $70 on most online |

| Pros: | Acne is alot better but not completely gone. Bigger breasts. Regular periods, lighter. No cramps. |

| Bottom Line: | Works well, but doesn't totally clear the issue. The birth control side is a nice advantage. No adverse effects at all!
A little point: the package instructions say to only take the pill for a MAXIMUM of 6 months. |

| Cons: | breakout and a bit of nausea in the morning |
| Bottom Line: | its my third week on diane and my skin hasnt improved yet in fact it seems a bit worse.during the first week i felt nauseous and my skin is a bit dry. my hair is no longer oily and its growing in parts were i was bit bald.i have yet to see the results for my acne. |

| Pros: | After one week of taking Diane 35 I saw a significant improvement in my skin. Clear, smooth, NO irritation or redness, reduced sensitivity. People are saying my skin is "glowing"! Also caused my breasts to swell and grow which i am happy about! |
| Cons: | I am experiencing severe abdominal pains...I started taking the pills the first day of my period as instructed which was 2 weeks ago and I still have my period. I will consult my doctor I even feel a bit bloated.? |
| Bottom Line: | I would recommend this product for sure to anyone with mild to severe acne it seems to really work from the inside out and I am happy with the results overall, except of course for the ongoing menstrual type cramps. I feel also that I am retaining more water now. |

| Bottom Line: | I like diane-35 and it was a miracle for my acne. A MIRACLE! But with time the magical effects wore of and weren't as great. At first I got NO acne, but now, after maybe 3 years of using it, I still get mild acne. At first I had no period pain with it, but after a while I get some and need to take advil to function at my best. I will be coming off it for a few months because it is giving me CHRONIC yeast infections. What's a more effective birth control than a birth control pill? A wife who is too ashamed to have sex with her husband because her yeast infection won't stay away. That's it. I love the pill & what it has done for my face, but it gave my mother high blood pressure which does not run anywhere in my family. If I quit the pill, I will have to strictly watch my diet. Contrary to popular belief, food aggravates/causes my acne. Oil and cheese cause blackheads, and then all the blackheads need is some sugar to sprout that baby up into a devil bump. Sad to be leaving Diane. |

| Pros: | my skin cleared up. no more painful red spots or impossible to clean black heads. Breasts grew, but perhaps that had to do with puberty. |

| Bottom Line: | I'm not taking it anymore because I'm afraid of becoming more depressed, infertile and hopeless.
I recommend it only in the most dire of acne cases.
It should not be used as a contraceptive alone.

| Pros: | improvement of acne, reduced and regular menses and lack of pregnancy |
| Cons: | weight gain and increased appetite made it difficult to really watch what i ate, low sex drive, dry vagina, terrible mood swings,PMS and cramps, very dry skin that led to flaking and burning sensation around my lips - my lips eventually became black |
| Bottom Line: | it improved my skin considerably, but the dry parts ( i have a combination skin) were badly affected. being newly married, the reduced sex drive is a no-no. and the increased weight - i have been struggling to lose weight for a while and just when i managed to do this, the drug takes away some of my effort - guess shall give another pill a try |
