Pros: Acne cleared up well, lighter, shorter periods, able to skip periods Cons: After using this pill for 5 years, when I went off it i was no longer moody or feeling fatigued all the time - i felt great. but my skin got really bad, all over my chest and back. And for the last yr, i've had shocking recurrent thrush Bottom Line: After going off this pill I felt fantastic - no more moodiness or fatigue. But then my acne came back, all over my face, chest and back. And for the last year, ive suffered recurrent thrush which cleared up as soon as i went off it. Pros: regulated periods Cons: side effects depression, anger, crying all the time Bottom Line: i have acne problem more than 2 years. i tried every dermathologic product except roacuttane because i dont want to use that horrible product. also i do not have any hormonal problem. doctor suggested me this product. i'm using it about 2.5 months but i didn't see any positive effects. my face still producing and producing painful acnes. i dont know if i'm being impatient or not. bu now i'm so hopeless about this product. what should i do ? should i wait for the 3rd month to end or quit ? Pros: I took this pill to eliminate my facial hairs, along with electrolysis. It worked really well!!! There was also a noticeable difference in my not all that bad skin which got much clearer. Cons: Extreme hunger which led to wieght gain. I gained 15 lbs. in 4 months!!!!! extreme headaches, and thirst, and my face and stomache were definitely bloated. Bottom Line: The cons defintely outweigh the pros. I stopped taking this pill just over 2 weeks ago and I feel and look much better already!!! I've lost weight (with a diet), lost my headaches, i feel much lighter and to my surprise my face is clear!!! My sister and friend are on Yaz now and the side effects are not nearly as bad- they both lost a few lbs. on the pill, and are seeing amazing effects. Pros: Very clear skin,cleared up all my pimples, amazing Cons: nausea, headaches, Dry mouth Bottom Line: Its a great product, intitially i felt nauseas and sick when taking it, but after a few days i got use to it and continued taking it for 6 months thereafter , my skin cleared amazingly so i stopped it about 2 years ago, no problems with my skin to date. Pros: My skin is so much better then before. But you have to be patient for it to work! Cons: Weight gain, zero libido Bottom Line: My skin was so bad at one point, that i woke up every morning with new friends on my face and they were painfull. After 3 months of using Diane, my skin is so much better but every few weeks, I'll get a pimple. I've been using it for 3 years now and im pretty happy with it... Pros: Breasts went up a cup size, great for an A cup!! Skin was less oily and break outs stopped. I was having large cysts on my chin, this stopped almost immediately. Less hair falling daily Cons: BAD pigmentation. Have been using this pill for 3 years, the pigmentation on my cheeks is now extending to the jaw line. More facial hair, some weight gain - about 2 to 3 kgs. Bottom Line: I would love to stay on this pill for the skin and breast benefits but the pigmentation is relentless so I am now off the pill and have an IUD. Pros: less pimpies very dry skin Cons: good appertize Bottom Line: I m now having diane 35 for nearly two month , my acne still not clear yet,but is getting better than before,but my face is very dry and also my whole body,is it normal and you guts got the same problem too?,i still doing facial and using their product,is it the product cause my dryness?any good recomment and pls let me know,one more thing,my new pimples now is big and painful and it take a long time to heal,can anyone tell me is it normal ,and i have to see the result after 3 month or even longer time?thanks Recommended: Yes Usage: stephanie has used this item for about a year. Pros: no acne, less oily hair Cons: hungry all the time, weight gain, bigger breasts :-) Bottom Line: I was using this kind of contraception for one year, my skin completely cleaned, i couldnt believe it, i didnt need make up anymore, but after one year i went off it nd in 3 months my skin started to break up, in first weeks just little bit but then my forehead was full of these little pimples. I decided to take diane again ( after 4 months), cause i needed is for contracep. as well. After two months i didnt see any good results, moreover my skin broke up more than i could imagine. Now Im in the begining of the 3rd month nd i can see that my skin is improving, not so much, but my self-confidence is much better now. Of course im using the local medicament on my skin, but i think that diane is working again. omg im sooo happy..but i know when i get off the pill, the disaster will definitely start again :-( Recommended: Yes Usage: Sara has used this item for about a year. Pros: regular periods Cons: weight gain, decreased libido Bottom Line: My periods stopped for 7 months and I was diagnosed with PCOS doctor prescribed me with estelle 35ed/dianne pill but since my tummy has bloated & huge weight gain..i used to be 42kg.. now i'm 51kg with alot of fat around my hips and thighs.. never thought i would get this fat... once i went overseas and didn't take the pill.. my periods stopped and my skin became very oily ( i don't have problems with acne just irregular periods) I'm not sure if i should stop taking it..
