| Bottom line | I was on Diane35 for a good 7 years and my skin was model perfect. It was gorgeous! Then I lost my health insurance and figured since my face was so clear I could go on a different pill. I was off the Diane for only about 3 months and my face looked horrible!! So I went back on the Diane although it is super expensive, I'm on my 4th pack now and my face is still really bad :( I also started using Proactiv about 1 month ago and no change. I'm getting scared that it won't clear up again. It seems hopless. I really hope that the Diane will kick back in soon and clear up my face again. I had such good results with this pill a while ago, I really wish I didn't go off it. |

| Bottom line | I have not noticed any weight gain. And I suffer from PCOS so I was prescribed diane mainly to treat my acne. I've been on it for 2 months and I have noticed that my skin has improved. However, it still has a while to go before my skin will be completely clear. I have active acne that is "deep", ie it has been there for a very long time. My doctor told me that skin takes a few months to completely heal so it will probably be 2-3 more months before my skin is completely clear. The only con is that it has affected my moods. I've become antisocial and paranoid. |

| Bottom line | I took this for a year and then went off because it had cleared my skin up totally. But after about 6 months the acne is coming back so im going back on it! it takes about 3 months to start working. |

| Bottom line | i have only been using this product for 1 month, i switched to it because i was using doxycycline and that was making me feel really sick. i am so self concious about my skin that i feel it is the only thing people can see when they look at me i just really hope that this product will work for me because i don't want to have to keep applying all of the different creams and goos to my skin that have a minimal effect. i want clear skin more than anything. |

| Bottom line | I have been on Dianne for a very short while. In just two months I have noticed although, I seam to be getting more pimples, my skin is healing much better and glowing. I think my skin is getting worse before it gets better as they say, cleansing itself. Deeper impurities or "Cystic pimples". So thats fine as this happens after a good regime of regular facials too. Old scares from drug use in earlier stages of my life are disapearing. My boobs are growing, yes tender, but who cares, I believe boobs tend to hurt when they are growing or when your on your period. so as long as they continue to grow I can take a little tenderness. I have polysistic ovarian syndrome so Dianne is very good for the treatment. Overall I think Im very happy. I have put on 5kgs. My friends and fam have always said I was to slim. I am 5ft 1 and weight 45kg. I am now 49kg. But if I only put 5kg on then who cares, again, bigger boobs. |

But i would like to get off but now im so scared that my skin will go back to the way it was. Im scared cuz i've been so long on it that it can affect my fertitly.I've been reading reviews of ppl who got off and im even more scared!!!!! I would like to get off one day because i would like to have children but i don't want to got back to a face full of acne...PLZ help!!!1 any suggestions? |

| Bottom line | Actually i'm having PCOS,when i was 15 years old,doctor advice me to take this pill..at first i was not realize that tis pill is good for skin...i on Diane until i 24 years old.many friends told me my skin was pretty smooth and suggested tat i can be a beautician.I'm very proud of it. But...3 months ago i tried to get off this pill..my god...my acne all crazy breakout..unable to control.I really very regret to stop this pill because of my acne, i rejected my boyfriend who wish to marry with me.How i'm going to have my wedding with this ugly face..I totally no confidence to face ppl,after work, only hide at home because everyone keep on asking me abt my acne.. Now i come back to Diane..having second pack now...i hope it really can work on me soon..i can;t see any improvement.acne keep on breakout and having a lot of acne scars.Everyday i worry abt it and i cry..i really hope it can work...anybody know that is it Diane take long time to see the improvemant? how long is it? |

| Cons | I did gain a bit of weight, but only about 5 lbs, which for clear skin I can live with. Unfortunately I am self employed and with no work supplied health care I pay $42 per month for this product. |
| Bottom line | I love it. I have been using it since I was 16 strictly for help with severe acne. I use it daily in addition to Vichy's Normaderm skincare line, and my skin looks model-perfect. I am 30 years old and last year as well as when I was 25 my Doc tried taking me off of it and putting me on Tricyclene and acne came right back. So I am sticking to my Diane 35 as long as I can get a perscription for it :) |
