| Bottom line | Even though it cleared my acne i would never ever take it again or recommend it to anyone. I stopped taking it, it made me feel so sick it was not worth it. It was a temporary cure for my acne but the brown patches on my face are permanent. |

| Bottom line | i have been on and off this pill for almost 5 years and i can say that it has helped me and yet destroyed me. right now, my hair is sooo freakin thin, my acne is worse than before...if you dont take it on time. it will haunt u. my skin was pretty clear for all those years of taking it..and since it was getting clear, i forget to take some tablets at times. my bad. my acne came back.and right now im taking it religiously. it has been almost 1 month but i dont see significant results.hopefully my old skin will come back in 3 months. i am sad because i want to stop taking this pill..sooner or later i would start a family and get pregnant. i really hate what this pill is doing to me. i am just sooo sad right now. to those who found other alternatives of clearing their skin when stopping this pill...pls let me know. i would love to hear from u. TY!! |

| Bottom line | diane 35 was the major turning point for me in m acne battle! my acne was pretty close to severe and my skin was oil slick, within 2 months my skin was so much better i couldnt believe it, it was friggen magic! i have been on it for 4 years and although my skin isnt perfect it is nowhere close to the mess it was before. I never experienced side effects, still enjoy sex as much as ever. I've heard it can be bad for you to use it long term but my doc keeps giving it to me so it cant be that bad. As long as you are a healthy weight and dont smoke the risks are minimal i think. Taking fish oil daily also prevents the formation of blood clots if your worried. take it! it WILL work for you! |

| Cons | Sore breasts. Erythema (little red dots) on feet, legs and arms, Got some really big painful zits. Other things maybe not related to diane like bad pains on both legs. |
| Bottom line | I have been on it for a little more than a month, it seems it takes a while to work, but I have been having strange symptoms, not sure if it's from Diane but they started little after starting taking it. Also it seems one of the most common side effects is depression, which I already have, so... I'll give it a couple more months. I just wished the doctor had asked me if I had any illnesses or anything that could become worse by taking diane or tell me the side effects, because I wouldn't have wanted to start taking it. But I already bought the pills necessary for 6 months because he told me to go back in 6 months to see how it was working. Reading all the side effects and problems that can come of taking it I think I should see him sooner than 6 months... |

| Bottom line | A lot of people here are concerned about their libido, but i find out of all the hormonal contraceptives i've tried (this is the 5th brand) this downplays my libido the least. It's been 5 months and the improvement in my skin is amazing. From complete face breakouts to 1-3 whiteheads a month (during my week off). Even my blackheads and pores are behaving and i can't wait to see the improvements in a years time. (I read in a medical journal that after 3yrs, 91% of trials saw complete clarification on their complexion!) I barely need to take care of my upper lip or chin ... even my legs! I've never been happier with any of the other contraceptives i've tried! I completely recommend it! |
