| Bottom line | I had read all the reviews about Diane 35 and I don't no what To say because many of the people around here said that acnee was coming back and I'm really afraid because I had acne problem more than 3 years and I used a lot of pills and a lot of dermathologic product without effect. The pills I had taken before they gave me results bu the acne was returning back.I went more often at the dermatolog and finally gave me roaccutane 5-6 months and Diane 35 one year.But I heard a lot of cons about these pills and more about roaccutane.I had taken roaccutane and diane 35 for 4 months and my acne has dissapeared,I had a soft skin and healthy hair but some scars but not really visible.I gave up on roaccutane today because I hurt my ankle leg and I had to take another antibiotics( if you take roaccutane don't take another antibiotics during this, it is written on the prospect) Now I will take only Diane 35 one year and I will see what is happening but I'm afraid that acnee would come back, Because I'm really fine without acnee... and before I was feeling like hell and I was ashamed of my face...Anyway I'm going to make my analysis on Monday and a blood test because of this pills. I must be sure if I'm healthy.Maybe you would choose to make them to ,because roaccutane and Diane 35 are dangerous pills even if they cure acne.I will write back soon.. |

| Bottom line | I have been on Diane 36 for 6 months. It was great in keeping my skin smooth, it wasn't that bad to begin with though. I stopped taking Diane after 6 months because I gained about 8lbs with it.. and I didn't like the way it made me feel. Three months after stopping, the hair on my head is falling out. It has been two months and is still falling out. I lost half my hair already but from what I heard, it is common for that to happen. I hope it will grow back. You got to weigh your option.. If it wasn't for the hairloss, i would say it is a great birth control, but my hair is important to me so for me it is not a choice. |

| Pros | I was becoming catatonic and within a week of starting Diane-35 I began to be able to walk more than 300m at a time, and I could handle 45 degree temperature, I still went catatonic on the plane though and ended up with a bruise behind my knee. But considering that I was confined to a hospital for two months, this drug was a miracle. It has also cleared up my acne. |

| Bottom line | Not really using it for it's intended use. But seeing as how medical treatment is being denied to me because I have been labeled as having conversion disorder, it's the best thing I could come up with that could be easily prescribed by a random GP to control problems that seemed linked to my menstrual cycle. |

| Pros | Before I began taking Diane I suffered varied and uneven periods, even missing a couple of months. After seeing my doctor, he prescribed me Diane. I have since been on it for 4 months and my periods have come back and are very comfortable aswell. I have not gained any weight, my boobs are fuller (which is a plus) and in terms of acne, It has improved, but considering the severity of it before taking Diane, I'm guessing that it may take some time to clear, so I'm perservering :) |

| Cons | The cons that I have experience while taking Diane are pretty common ones, from other reviews I have read. At first I suffered nausiousness and hunger pains, even after eating a full meal I didnt feel as if I was full and felt if I could eat more. I soon learnt to deal with it by eating a sensible sized meal and finding that about half an hour after eating the hunger pains went away and I felt comfortably full. I excercise for 40 mins a day - and thats how I have dodged the dreaded weight gain. |
| Bottom line | In summary, I would reccommend Diane to women who have irregular periods and/or suffer with acne, also women looking for contraception. I believe there are ways around the cons that come with Diane, but there are cons to every medication. If you don't see improvment to your acne after a couple of months, please keep perservering, becuase the time it takes for it to clear depends on the depth of the acne. You may also experience cystic acne at first becuase it is the bodies way of expelling the gunk under the skin. I hope my review of Diane has been helpful to all you girls ! Best of Luck :) |

| Bottom line | I had moderate to severe acne on my face, chest, and back. I was on diane 35 for about 10 years, and i thought it was about time to come off of it seeing as tho i was 24 at the time (and i thought i had already had grown out of acne). Well boy was i WRONG!! i broke up sooo bad 3 months after and my skin has never been the same. 2 years later, I've tried everything to get my skin clear without using bcp's with no luck. i've used every skin product out there and i'm seriously considering getting back on diane. but i haven't conceieved either yet so i'm trying to decide whether my skin or a baby is more important to me right now.... |

| Pros | My skin was fantastic while I was on it. Also, I weigh on an average 10 lbs LESS while I am on Diane than when I do not take it. Having been off of it for about 8 months, I decided to go back to improve my skin and help with weight control. |

| Bottom line | I am from Kenya and i was recommended by my gynecologist to use Diane 35 and from the firs week i saw a change my skin was not spotted anymore and now i look great.i gained too much weight tho although i tried not to eat much.i don't know what to do about that.but anyway it worked.there should be an awareness of the product here with people like me saying that it woks. |

| Bottom line | BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!! I always had "acne" as I called it back then but now I would kill for my pre-diane 35 skin!! After coming off of Diane 35 my skin got HORRIBLE!! I have now been off of it for 2 months and my face now has extremely severe acne!! I have never ever had a cyst before Diane35.. now I have SEVERAL! I wish I never took it............\ It worked while I was on it but within weeks of coming off my face broke out with a vengance :(... Anyone else had this problem??? |

| Bottom line | I went on dianne about 5 years ago for my acne. i dont remember how fast it took to clear it up, but it sure did make a differance. I was diagnosed with depression in march/09 and my dr switched me to yaz because dianne may have been contributing to the depression. since i have gone off it, i have had nothing but breakouts, once in a while my skin clears up for a day, maybe 2 if im lucky. i stopped taking yaz as it was doing nothing for my skin, i am no longer on antidepressants and am making a dr. app to go back on dianne. i go to the gym regularly and that is a natural anti depressant so as long as i keep that up, eating healthy, and doing things i enjoy, the depression should stay away (fingers crossed). i have tried every kind of skin care line and topical treatments out there and nothing has ever worked like dianne. the simple pop of a pill daily works for me! you have to be patient and give any new type of medication months to start to work their magic, nothing happens over night |
