| Pros: | FLAWLESS CLEAR skin, no killer period pain (taking the yellow tab's non-stop without 7-day white tab's break) |

| Bottom Line: | I have had acne since I was a teenager (now 39yo), ending up on Roaccutane..which was effective. After having children all my acne can back and was now cystic and not just on my face but on my hairline, chest and back. Diane 35 began working after one month, and after three months I had flawless skin. i continued to take the product for the next five years, but noticed I was losing my thick curly hair. i have been off the product now for 1 year and my acne came back ferociously for the first six months but has since settled down. Although I have oily skin and hair now, the acne is most prevalent leading up to period...what I would like back is my hair thickness!!! Otherwise, I found Diane 35 to be highly effective for acne. |

| Bottom Line: | I stopped using this product after 6 months. Yes.. my skin was great.. it was so clear and not oily anymore but I am a very thin person and usually never gain weight. After two months on this pill.. i noticed that my hips started to get huge.. and I just got rounder. It was aweful. No matter what I ate.. I tried going on a diet.. but it wouldn't make a difference. I gained about 8 to 10 lbs.. but it showed on me. I felt aweful. Oh.. And it gives you cellulite as well. I got off it and was so scared to get the acne back. I am now using a retinol A cream 0.1% and it's amazing. I wash my face with cetaphil morning and night and use the cream at night. It has been almost 4 months now and my skin is amazing. Just like using Diana 35. I went to my dermotologist last week to get another prescription for the retionl A and he said that most doctors are giving it now. And over time it reduces wrinkles as well. It is working wonders for me. I lost the weight in 3 months. |

| Bottom Line: | I've had acne since I was 12years old, and now that I am 23 I still am having major breakouts! Hate it! Then my OB gyne prescribed me diane 35 to treat my ovarian cyst, which also resolved my skin problems! 2months after using it, I saw a clearing of my acne and my skin is not oily anymore,amazing! After 6months of use I stopped already and immediately my skin was oily again, I started to have pimples again but not as bad as before. So now I want to have clear skin again which lead me to taking diane again! |

| Bottom Line: | Great for the skin, I used to have terrible acne and it cleared it right up within 5-6 months. My skin was beautiful, smooth, even, etc. I actually got compliments on my skin! But after 7 years of being on Diane-35 (started when I was 16) I went off of it because of the high hormone intake was seriously affecting my mood and making me depressed, and I was told that maybe my acne would be permanently gone now that I was 23 years old. However, once going off of it, my skin broke out worse than before, so I decided to go back on it again, but it didn't work for me anymore. I was told that once you go off a birth control pill, it may lose its effect even if you try to go back on it. My friends are all on Diane-35 and have had the same experience as myself, both the pros and the cons. |

| Cons: | After using this pill for 5 years, when I went off it i was no longer moody or feeling fatigued all the time - i felt great. but my skin got really bad, all over my chest and back. And for the last yr, i've had shocking recurrent thrush |
| Bottom Line: | After going off this pill I felt fantastic - no more moodiness or fatigue. But then my acne came back, all over my face, chest and back. And for the last year, ive suffered recurrent thrush which cleared up as soon as i went off it. |

| Bottom Line: | i have acne problem more than 2 years. i tried every dermathologic product except roacuttane because i dont want to use that horrible product.
also i do not have any hormonal problem. doctor suggested me this product. i'm using it about 2.5 months but i didn't see any positive effects. my face still producing and producing painful acnes. i dont know if i'm being impatient or not. bu now i'm so hopeless about this product. what should i do ? should i wait for the 3rd month to end or quit ? |

| Pros: | I took this pill to eliminate my facial hairs, along with electrolysis. It worked really well!!! There was also a noticeable difference in my not all that bad skin which got much clearer. |
| Cons: | Extreme hunger which led to wieght gain. I gained 15 lbs. in 4 months!!!!! extreme headaches, and thirst, and my face and stomache were definitely bloated. |
| Bottom Line: | The cons defintely outweigh the pros. I stopped taking this pill just over 2 weeks ago and I feel and look much better already!!! I've lost weight (with a diet), lost my headaches, i feel much lighter and to my surprise my face is clear!!! My sister and friend are on Yaz now and the side effects are not nearly as bad- they both lost a few lbs. on the pill, and are seeing amazing effects. |

| Bottom Line: | My skin was so bad at one point, that i woke up every morning with new friends on my face and they were painfull. After 3 months of using Diane, my skin is so much better but every few weeks, I'll get a pimple. I've been using it for 3 years now and im pretty happy with it... The only problems I have with Diane is the weight gain and the low libido. |

| Pros: | Breasts went up a cup size, great for an A cup!! Skin was less oily and break outs stopped. I was having large cysts on my chin, this stopped almost immediately. Less hair falling daily |
| Cons: | BAD pigmentation. Have been using this pill for 3 years, the pigmentation on my cheeks is now extending to the jaw line. More facial hair, some weight gain - about 2 to 3 kgs. |
| Bottom Line: | I would love to stay on this pill for the skin and breast benefits but the pigmentation is relentless so I am now off the pill and have an IUD. Hopefully the pigmentation will fade over time. |
