Bottom line I've just started taking it Cyclessa yesterday, and I'm wondering if anyone has had it help with clearing up their skin, because that is the reason I'm taking it.

Bottom line I have moderate acne. That's why i took OTC, it made me breakout more and gain weight all in one month. The acne and weight was so embarrassing. i couldn't stop eating. Some may say i should of taking it more then a month but trust me i was food monster! i dont think i can afford to feed me self like that. :)
If someone had same experience and been cured with different birth control pills please let me know by emailing at [email address removed] or leave a comment. Its very upsetting that i'm that odd ball who was not cured.

I've been on Cyclessa for over 3 years now and it didn't present any problems at all. I didn't gain weight. No acne problems. No clots. The best thing is that it is working like it should with the short menstrual period.

I have been on cyclessa for about 6 months. I needed a low dose pill. It took about 4 months before my acne improved at all. The first 2 months it seemed to get worse. One thing that helped my acne too was the exfoliating bath gloves from walmart. I could see a difference in about 2 weeks with those and the pill. The gloves are a little rough, especially around the eyes. If I get a big hard, red, bump on my face I put a thick "dot" of equate 10% benzoyl peroxide overnight for about 3 nights and its gone. I also use Proactive daily. With all these products my acne is almost non-exsistant.

I've been on Cyclessa for almost a year and have been very happy with it. One thing I don't like though... maybe my body doesn't like the 3rd week's hormones or something, but I get really... dry and itchy? [ew, I know] almost every time I hit the 3rd row...

Does anyone else experience this?

I have been on Cyclessa for 2 months now, and my acne is worse than it has EVER been. I had a minor problem with acne before, but nothing a little Clearasil couldn't handle. Now, it's extremely bad, and I hate looking at my skin! It's horrible. I don't know if I should change or wait it out to see if it clears up?!?!
And if I change to a different pill, what should I take?!?

I have been on this for a month now. I immediately had swollen and tender breasts. My acne seems to have gotten worse. Does anyone know if this side effect goes away with use?

i've always had a hard time finding the "right" pill. with every other pill i have tried, i have gotten nauseous, very tiered, moody, emotional, and worst...not being in the mood to have sex. so when i found out about Cyclessa i thought i would give it a try and now I LOVE IT!!! It's like im not even on the pill. i recomend it to anyone!!!

The only side effects ive had so far is a slight cramping in the abdominal area, but other than that its perfect! i've only been taking it for one month though, so we'll see what happens in the upcomming months.

My Doctor told me that it is now known to protect sexually after the first seven days of taking it. It should start working (within your body) as soon as you start taking it.

I just started taking this birth control and I was wondering how long it takes for it to start working?
