| Pros | softer skin, reduced red marks, demolished acne, skin looked a lot evener, clears up new acne spots really fast, & fights off breakouts when I ate junk food. |
|---|---|
| Cons | feels kind of gross when you put it on, & is solid at room temperature. |
| Bottom line | this definitely improved my skin so much! I have almost eliminated my acne with coconut oil. if you plan on trying it makes sure to buy unrefined extra virgin coconut oil though. it's definitely worth a shot though! |

| Pros | None |
|---|---|
| Cons | It broke me out. Expensive |
| Bottom line | I read all they hype about this oil and so I bought the best one -- organic, etc. etc. Epic fail. It made my skin worse. Recently I looked on zero zits list of comedogenic ratings and this got a higher rating. Wish I'd known that before I tried it. I would NEVER do this again. There are better oils for your face, like sunflower oil. |

| Pros | great body moisturizer great hair treatment |
|---|---|
| Cons | VERY comedogenic on face |
| Bottom line | I started using coconut oil on my hair and body with great results and researched using it on my face. I saw mixed reviews, but decided to try it out anyway. I really want to get away from the BP. Huge mistake! My skin looked great for the first few days. Then, I began to have several new breakouts, but attributed it to "purging" and stuck with it for another 2 weeks. I had to stop and return to using the Regimen to get rid of all the new acne. I had very mild, barely noticeable acne to begin with. Coconut oil is great for the body, though. Leaves your skin incredibly silky. I also take 3 TBS a day. |

| Pros | Got rid of my cystic acne & redness Works as a WONDERFUL tanning oil Cheap, one jar lasts me around 6 months |
|---|---|
| Cons | Gave me a few blackheads on the sides of my face, where i had no previous problems |
| Bottom line | It's kindof a give&take method. I'll continue to use it all over face/body just because it acts as an amazing tanning oil. I baught mine online since there arent any natural food stores in my area. Extra virgin! |

| Pros | soft CLEAR skin basically overnight |
|---|---|
| Cons | a little more more work than putting on a lotion but well worth it |
| Bottom line | So, honestly when I tried this last night I was expecting to wake up with a face full of acne...instead all the pimples from yesterday were gone! even the ones that were about to come up. My skin is so soft and even toned. I use oatmeal to wash my face then dried with a towel and applied coconut oil i let it set a few minutes and rinsed the rest of with cool water. I used walmart's extra virgin coconut oil. Maybe the problem skeptics are running into it using coconut oil that isn't virgin or extra virgin. Or maybe they left it on. It looks like most people who have had success with it let it absorb than get the rest off. TRY IT! I will update more after I use it a while. |

| Pros | Clear, clean, moisterized face |
|---|---|
| Cons | oily face, hair |
| Bottom line | I use the oil cleansing method for my face just using cold pressed, unrefined virgin coconut oil everynight. Afterwards, I generously put on hazelnut oil over my wet face as it is a good toner and moisterizer. When I wake up in the morning, I put on a thin layer of cold pressed unrefined red raspberry seed oil since it has the best anti-inflammation properties and absorps super fast and does not leave a greasy or oily finish. The red raspberry seed oil also a such a pleanst smell to it, def aromatherapy for acne, lol. Bottom line is I have suffered from sever acne for the past 7 years of my life and with cystes, white heads, dry and oily skin, etc. Past few months I have had really good clear skin!! for the first time in those 7 years!!!! Using organic oils has cured my acne!!! |

| Pros | ONLY THING THAT HAS WORKED FOR ME AND ITS THE HEALTHIEST MOST NATURAL THING IVE PUT ON MY SKIN. GAVE ME A DEWY SOFT BEAUTIFUL SUPER MODEL COMPLEXION AFTER ONE MONTH. |
|---|---|
| Cons | ZERO |
| Bottom line | 1. Stream Face. Put a towel over your head and lean over a plugged sink or bowl of hot water. 2. Massage a small amount of coconut oil gently into your face. Spend a few minutes rubbing into your cheeks, nose, forehead, neck, and chin, allowing the oils to penetrate into the skin and pull out wastes, bacteria, dead cells and other dirt. 3. Wring out a facecloth or washcloth in hot water, and drape it over your face to steam - it's just like giving yourself a mini facial! 4. After a minute or so, wipe away the oil, along with any dirt, using the washcloth. Your skin will feel clean, soft, and moist. |

| Pros | Cleared up acne, best moisturizer I've ever used, smells great, cheap, you can eat it what more do you want?! The ancient polynesions had a name for the coconut tree that meant 'tree that provides all that is necessary for life' |
|---|---|
| Cons | Slightly oily residue but is a skin protectant that way so no worries |
| Bottom line | Awesome stuff, has truly changed my skin drastically for the better. I don't think I could live without it! Rock on coconut oil |

| Pros | An effective moisturizer. Nutrient-rich, supposedly healthy. Inexpensive, carried at local health stores. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Chunky. Cool and solid at room temp., tedious to work with if you want to lather it on your skin. Body heat will help it melt. Oily, may significantly clog pores, not very skin absorbent. Some risk: unsure if this causes breakouts. |
| Bottom line | Precaution: don't use on your face unless your acne is well under control. Also do not use if your skin is thin, and do not use around the eyes. Not that this product stings but it gave me some milia spots after one use, which are harder to shake than pimples. Or just don't leave on your face longer than a few minutes... that was probably my err. It is much safer for a body moisturizer, hands especially. i suggest testing this product on the shoulders and arms for a month before moving to the face. People have different skin, and different experiences with different products. I would recommend giving this a go, despite its risks. Besides, it's easy to get and cheap. There isn't much to loose, just KEEP AWAY FROM EYE AREAS. PLEASE. |

|---|---|
