Pros: this is the best stuff. Wash with cetaphil then apply a thin layer over your face...twice a day...takes about 2-3weeks to work. All of my daughters acne is gone..(she has cystic acne) she had no itching, redness, or reactions what so ever. Cons: none at this point Bottom Line: Try it!!.. it takes longer, but works and the gel is the best, keeps skin soft - no drying. Pros: Helps clear acne without causing dry patches or irritation. Cons: Can't think of any. Bottom Line: My mom reccommended this treatment because I've tried using just about EVERYTHING such as Differin, ProActiv, Murad etc. I began breaking out alot on my forehead and this really helped clear it. I use it once a day every night after my skin care regimen and I don't know what I would do without this! This has got to be my holy grail acne treatment. Pros: No stinging or redness. I felt no side effects. It only has a very minor effect on acne, to be honest not even worth using it. Cons: I was on it for about 8-9 weeks and it wasn't worth the time, I wish I would have started roaccutane sooner! Recommended: No Usage: lll has used this item for about a month. Pros: No drying, soft matte skin, no redness, no burns, peels scars & leaves no scars! Cons: Expensive, can't be bought over the counter. Bottom Line: I think the product I've been using is a bit different (not too sure). Mine is Clindamycin Hydrochloride 1%. I finally got the courage to go to the doctor after dealing with not-very-good over-the-counter products. I was using Salicylic Acid for about a week. I saw slow improvements with Salicylic Acid. So I decided to switch to Benzoyl Peroxide. After a night, Benzoyl Peroxide assisted the acne to go away faster. It literally peeled off the unbearable dark spots left by acne and induced redness. The next day, I was a bit skeptical not knowing much about Benzoyl Peroxide so I went to my doctor to prescribe me acne treatment that was best suited for me. I was prescribed with Clindamycin Hydrchloride 1% lotion & Doxycycline Hydrocloride pills. It worked great! The pimples went smaller dramatically over a night of usage and scars still peeled off. These two products did not dry my skin at all! Gave me baby skin! I'm really ecstatic and would recommend it! Recommended: Yes Usage: Elise has used this item for a day or two. Pros: It worked, but took almost the whole tube. Had all little bumps on my forehead and side of my face. Now I'm on Tretinoin and everything seems to be getting better. Cons: None Bottom Line: It's is good, but I ran out and they gave me the tretinoin cream. I think both work good. Recommended: Yes Usage: Issy has used this item for a few months. Pros: Easy to apply, works well, and doesnt dry out skin. Oh, and super affordable ($5)!! Cons: Takes time. Bottom Line: I have used EVERY THING, I mean everything. From all the stuff on the shelf at drug stores to all the late night commercials. Even ProActive. Nothing worked. Until I finally got fed up and got the insurance to go to the doctor. He proscribed me Clindamycin Phosphate Gel 1%. At first I didnt think it was working, but I was determined to stick with it. Now its been 4 weeks and I am very happy with it. The best thing about it is that it prevents acne from forming. I highly recommend this product. And hope that all those who feel like I did will use it too.
