Pros: Amazing as base ingedient in super compound! Ask your doctor to look up this compound and prescribe along with 100mg MINOMYCIN. Cons: Expensive!!! I pay $40 per 60g compound! I hate paying so much money for it, but nothing else is as effective as this preparation. It's also hella itchy and the oral minomycin may stop working after prolonged use... Bottom Line: CLINDAMYCIN 1% AZEL 4% KOJIC ACID 1% BENZAC 5%... Apply all over face twice daily! Dries out existing pimples and prevents new ones when used along with the oral anti-biotic. Results as soon as 3 days. Skin will be super sensitive to sunlight so you may want to avoid unnecessary sunlight exposure and shield your face. Use vaseline on lips as anti-biotic dries out lips too! Apply Bio Oil and then moisturize to lock in hydration! Recommended: Yes Price Paid: 30.00 Acne severity: light Was this comment helpful? Pros: great, it does dry your skin, so use Vitamin E lotion to balance your skin out. It gets rid of pimples easily but doesn't stop them from popping up. I would still recommend it though Cons: drying, otherwise it's good, i had no problem using extra moisturizer Bottom Line: it doesn't cure anytihng but gets rid of whatever is on your face. i used this in combo with retin-A-micro and the pill. I know how everyone feels, it SUCKS, but everyones different, and find what works for you. i went to about 3 doctors to figure out what the deal was, but eventually after I kept up with all three of the meds, everything started clearing up. good luck:) Recommended: Yes Usage: Megan has used this item for about a month. Pros: reduces redness .. improvement in the initial phase...inexpensive..reduce dryness Cons: no improvement after certain time....get more pimples after .. Pros: Really helps acne improve; Results in as little as 3 days. Cons: Potentially fatal side effect. (Colitis.) Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone with moderate acne. Pros: reduces redness. Cons: it took 6 weeks to see a difference and b/e it makes skin oily it increased blackheads. didn't really get rid of the acne just reduced. Pros: Easy to apply Cons: The more i started using it, i started breaking out more and my acne looked darker. It was really hard to cover it up. Bottom Line: I'm trying everything. The doctor said i should be on Accutane, or to try this birth control but I'm kind of scared using them. I'm not sure if i'm using it wrong, i just gave up using Clindamycin. I'm going try to start using it again, and give it some patience. The first two days, it was doing okay and than more pimples started to arise. Usage: Marie has used this item for about a week. Pros: Inexpensive Cons: My face is soooo itchy! My skin is much oilier, and my acne looks much darker. It is totally impossible to cover up. The worst part though is really the itchiness.
