I never did like this product. I didn't notice my skin getting clearer, actually it got worse. It wasn't expensive and didn't dry out my skin so that was okay but it didn't help my acne.

This product really sucks. It never did clear up my face and it burns my skin. I used clindoxyl gel, as well as Dalacin T. Even though I find it's not expensive, it's not worth the dollars you have to shell out for this crap. My skin is worse than ever.

I started using this one week ago. So far, everything seems okay (although, I picked at some acne so now my chin is horrendous!). However, based on some feedback on this site, I never use this alone. I always use this with my proactive repairing lotion AND neutrogena on the spot 2.5%. Additionally, I'm taking Erythromycin twice a day. If things get better, I'll post photos. If not, you'll see me complaining in my personal log. BTW, my face is dry but I'm doing so many things to it that it could be because of all the products I'm using. OH. Also, every evening when I get home, I use the DDF 10% sulfur face mask and leave it on for 30 minutes. Then I'll rinse it off, clean with Clean & Clear pads, and then rinse that off with water. And then, I'll use Clindamycin and the regimen I list above.

I think that using Clindamycin along with Benz Peroxide is the best solution for a topical cream. There are currently two available out there BenzaClin and DuAc. I personally think that Duac is the best because it is once a day (used at night) and I think that what ever base it is mixed in is more agreeable to the skin. WORTH A TRY!!! You will see result within the first couple of days(depending on how bad the acne is)

I tried the Clindets. Used them for a long time...even though the alcohol in them set my woods on fire!!! This was when I was around 13 and my face was alot oilier...I wouldn't think of using them now, at the age of 18. I can remember that they worked alright though at the time.

I also tried the Cleocin T lotion. I remember it being very oily. But also working ok.

Both of these worked better than other topical antibiotics I had tried...

I was prescribed Clindagel (equivalent to 1% clindaymcin) for my facial and back acne. It worked WONDERS on my back, but my face, not so good. For the back I just applied it onnce a day after I showered. Not sure how long it took to work, but my back totally cleared up in time for summer, which is awesome. Now if only my face would follow suit.
