| Pros | It clears up exisiting blemishes quicker than anything I've used. |
|---|---|
| Cons | It does not seem to get rid of black heads like some other people have mentioned. My doctor prescribed Differin cream for me to use along with the clindamycin; they work great together. He said it would take a few months to get better. |
| Bottom line | I think it's working. The doctor told me a few things that I think are helful along with using the gel. He said not to try to squeeze any bumps because it causes the bacteria to spread underneath the skin causing those hard cyst like bumps under the skin which are harder to get rid of. Also, he said not to use scurbs or buff puffs because that causes bacteria to spread as well. And, be patient with the gel. It takes awhile, but you have to be presistant and let it work. Nothing is going to clear your face up over night. |

| Pros | Kept acne under control to an extent, had way less whiteheads, didn't dry me out or sting, inexpensive. The "dabber" is very easy to use, and makes the application process quick. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Redness and didn't clear acne, only really seemed to help whiteheads. |
| Bottom line | Didn't clear up my acne, but it did keep me clear of whiteheads (only had a few every once and awhile), didn't do anything for the larger pimples or red marks at all. I wouldn't use it again as it didn't clear my acne, but it's definitely worth trying. |

| Pros | Works well on sensitive skin. Easy to wear under lotions and makeup. Doesn't make skin overly sensitive to sun. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Doesn't treat clogged pores or blackheads. Doesn't prevent future breakouts. |
| Bottom line | This is a great supplement to any acne treatment plan, but I wouldn't recommend it as your only line of defense. It's great for daytime use under lotion or makeup, as it kills bacteria and slightly reduces oil production. It's also wonderful for sensitive skin. I switched to clindamycin solution (I also recommend cleocin gel) for my face after years of using Tazorac cream, and my skin cleared immediately and stopped flaking. |

| Pros | Well it made the acne less noticeable, and did not dry out my skin like other medications have, does not smell like the retina does, and has no sting. (I'm using the topical gel form) |
|---|---|
| Cons | I think the only reason its less noticeable is because my skin is more red, more pimples are popping up, the doc says it may take 1-2 months before I see ANY results, which really makes me want to try something else |
| Bottom line | It is supposed to work for many people so I'd reccomend trying it, but if it wil actually work, I have no idea, I'm hoping so. |

| Pros | completely cleared up my acne in a few weeks |
|---|---|
| Cons | After several months of clear skin, my acne came back and I've been struggling with it ever since then. |
| Bottom line | It's worth a try, but it may not be a permanent solution. |

| Pros | gets rid of acne quickly, compared to differin or benzaclin, which you have to wait a month or so. |
|---|---|
| Cons | X |
| Bottom line | I am using evoclin and it seems to be working great! i haven't had much of a problem with dry skin, but i guess that depends on how much you put on. |

| Pros | None |
|---|---|
| Cons | This made me breakout much worse than I ever have, I had light-moderate acne and now my face is covered in tiny whiteheads and it is from using this product, I have discontinued use and still waiting for the bumps to go away. |
| Bottom line | It is horrible but I think this is a rare case, I have never had acne as bad as I do now since using this product. |

| Pros | healed bigger blemishes |
|---|---|
| Cons | dried my skin a bit too much, causing the occasional scaley skin |
| Bottom line | isn't really good for sensitive skin, causes sensitive skin to flake/scale which tends to make me uncomfortable when it often dries my face up |
