| Pros | It doesn't bleach clothing, etc. Affordable If used in the form of gel; like with Duac, very successful. |
|---|---|
| Cons | The lotion is very runny. The Duac will bleach clothing and does dry out the skin. |
| Bottom line | Clindamycin in the form of gel is great. Heals pimple right away. |

| Cons | Doesn't do anything. |
|---|---|
| Bottom line | I went to the dermatologist recently because I started breaking out suddenly with very tiny bumps all over my face and neck. He claimed I had adult acne and put me on clindamycin. I have been using it for 9-days now and it's doing absolutely nothing. I don't know if this product is just slow or if it doesn't work but I'm getting very impatient. This products also makes my skin quite greasy/oily. |

| Pros | Best product I've used. Has almost cleared my oily clogged, mildly papuled skin in only one month. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Nothing |
| Bottom line | My derm prescribed me a generic alcohol solution called Taro-Clindamycin.(Canadian product,it is similar to Cleocin T) It normally has only 1% clindamycin in it, but my derm prescribes it with 2% clindamycin compounded into the product. It comes in a plastic dabber bottle that I use only once a day before bed. Plus I only use warm water to wash my skin, no cleansers or soaps on my face. |

| Pros | insurance covered it easy to use |
|---|---|
| Cons | didn't work |
| Bottom line | I hate topicals that stay on your skin. It feels nasty, especially if you have oily skin like me. Anyway, this stuff didn't work for me as prescribed by my doctor. It worked maybe a tiny bit at first, but quit working after a week or so and did nothing but make my skin feel nasty. |

| Pros | well, i've only been using this for about a week, but i've seen a good difference to the overall texture of my skin. I don't have a single big zit...just a few small drying ones and my blackheads. You can use this during the day! |
|---|---|
| Cons | can be a bit drying, but my skin handles it perfectly. over time I have a feeling I will become resistant to it |
| Bottom line | I'm brand new to the stuff, so can't say much yet. When I woke up this morning, I saw my SKIN. I actually thought to myself---wow look at how beautiful my skin is, it has such a great tone! but then of course you get into bad lighting somewhere else and all those post-acne red marks scream at you when you take a look in the mirror. When i got a facial about a week ago, the lady said I actually have really pretty and nice skin--under neath the acne and marks. This morning, I actually beleived her. I pray this stuff keeps working! |

| Pros | Dries up zits and dries quickly on face |
|---|---|
| Cons | none |
| Bottom line | Only dried up skin in the corners of nose a little bit but any daily moisturizer would take care of it, its not a severe enough issue to list as a con. Not the most effective solution to acne alone, would suggest using with a topical creme as well |

| Pros | It cleared up my skin for about 3 years with an occasional stubborn pimple. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Stopped working all of a sudden. Had mild stomach aches / some nausua. |
| Bottom line | I think after a while you become immune to it and it stops working. Nothing lasts forever... |

| Bottom line | my dermatoligist prescribed this to me, its not that great. only for people with barley any acne. useless for people with TONS of acne. ive used this for about 3 months now, and 1/4 of the acne i started with before using this product were still there. |

| Pros | after popping my zit which you shouldnt do : I i applied this product and it dried it up. |
|---|---|
| Cons | didnt work unless popped zit first |
| Bottom line | i wouldnt say this will totally clear up you face. I have used it after washing and it didnt do anything for me, unless i had popped the zit and then applied it. It would dry it up but I would still have a mark from the zit. recommend if u r into popping your zits and then applying |
