| Pros | It has cleared up my face a bit and does not dry it out one bit. |
|---|---|
| Cons | The first few weeks (i started using this two weeks ago) my acne went down but i woke up yesterday with three new NASTY pimples and was frustrated. |
| Bottom line | I dont know how long it takes but it doesnt work very quickly, but hopefully it will fix up my bad acne problem. |

| Pros | I had moderate acne and after a month of using this I had maybe 2-5 pimples. I used this as a topical and with an oral antibiotic for a month, once a night, along with washing my face. |
|---|---|
| Cons | I had a pimple on my chest and applied clindamicilin to it and the pimple became infected and nasty looking...keep the use to the face only. |
| Bottom line | I tried a lot of different solutions and this was the only one that worked for me! Acne still hasn't come back. |

| Pros | worked well! not sticky or too thick. and so cheap! |
|---|---|
| Cons | some drying, but moisturizer with a few drops of jojoba combats it well. pretty bad when you stop using it, even for a few days, however...make sure you get your prescription refilled before you run out, or it won't be as effective. |
| Bottom line | i used 1% clindamycin phosphate gel, morning and evening. (morning, followed with aveeno ultra-calming moisturizer and three drops jojoba oil; evening, followed with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, then six drops jojoba oil, and same aveeno moisturizer.) ...combine this with not picking your blemishes (even if a few bumps pop up, this stuff knocks them out before they come to a head, picking will only keep the clindamycin from working!) and you'll have gorgeous skin. really, i was horribly skeptical of this stuff due to some of the negative reviews, but it's cheap and it works really well...my skin has never been so beautiful [and i had some pretty bad acne.] |

| Pros | Does not sting the skin. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Did not work for me with my acne but I'm sure it could work for the right person. |
| Bottom line | Used the product for about a month. Irritated my sensitive skin somewhat but not overly. The product was affordable at $35 but was ineffective for me. I guess the quest continues to find that miracle product. |

| Pros | It cost absolutely NOTHING with my insurance!.Cleared my rash and regular bumps up in 3 days! LOVE IT!..so many compliments from coworkers!..The were so shocked it worked so fast! |
|---|---|
| Cons | My chin would get irratated and red..but i just stopped putting it there..and its hard to tell if ur using to much when using ur finger..Would use i cotton swab |
| Bottom line | I just started using the product. Actually i had a rash on my face. They were little red bumps all over my face and i went to the doctors and the called ot a rash they didnt really know what exactly would work but they told me to take soome benedryl and the Clindamycin..well i did and the Clindamycin cleared my skin up the next day!.I still had a few. But i started monday and was clear by friday..not only did it clear the rash it cleared my bumps too..i have a few bumps on my forehead and one medium on my chin..but i think thats because it was bringing the oil out..Right now i get facials once a month and i have been using Jan Marini Benzoyl Peroxide Wash, and Lotion..at night..i hear Clindamycin and Peroxide together is suppose to be excellent..i was going to ask my doctor if i could use the Clindamycin every day..well according to everyone elses blogs i can..So im very pleased! |

| Pros | Lasts a while if you use as prescribed; didn't make my acne worse. That's pretty much it. |
|---|---|
| Cons | Made my skin more oily, took a while to absorb into the skin, and (most important of all) just didn't work. |
| Bottom line | For me, this was more or less useless. It didn't reduce any acne, and wasn't effective at all. It was basically like putting moisturizer on my face, almost like a thick water. If your skin is especially oily I wouldn't use it, but I guess for some skin types it might do something. Definitely not for mine, though. I guess it didn't make me any worse which was kind of a plus, but why use medication that doesn't do what it's supposed to? |

| Pros | DOESN'T IRRITATE MY SKIN, DOESN'T DRY ME OUT, IS PRETTY GENTLE, DOESN'T STAIN CLOTHING |
|---|---|
| Cons | ISN'T THE MIRACLE PIMPLE SHRINKER, DOESNT' WORK AS FAST AS SOME OTHER SPOT TREATMENTS |
| Bottom line | I LIKE THIS PRODUCT FOR THE MOST PART. I HAVE REALLY IRRITABLE SKIN. THIS PRODUCT DOESN'T DRY ME OUT WAHT SO EVER. THE ACNE I HAVE WHEN I APPLY DOESN'T DISAPPEAR BUT IT DOES SHRINK DOWN ALITTLE. I WOULD GIVE THIS A TRY. IT IS A N ANTIBACTERIAL GEL. SO IF YOU HAVE ALOT OF BACTERIA THIS MIGHT HELP. |

| Pros | It is the only product that cleared up my skin completely. I have tried both murad, and proactiv, but neither gave me good results, just exacerbated my acne. |
|---|---|
| Cons | although it can make your skin dry, I use it in conjunction with a light weight mousturizer, so I do not have that problem. |
| Bottom line | If you have tried everything else like proactiv or murad, which does not work for everyone try asking a doctor for prescription medication. The acne medication will be stronger. Plus this medication is not expensive like differin...so i recommend it over differin. |
