Pros: after popping my zit which you shouldnt do : I i applied this product and it dried it up. Cons: didnt work unless popped zit first Bottom Line: i wouldnt say this will totally clear up you face. I have used it after washing and it didnt do anything for me, unless i had popped the zit and then applied it. It would dry it up but I would still have a mark from the zit. recommend if u r into popping your zits and then applying Recommended: Yes Usage: fed up has used this item for about a year. Pros: very efficient for acne, skin starts glowing Cons: once you stop usage, acne may reoccur Bottom Line: i used this product for 2 years without missing it for a day and I could se the improvement on a daily basis. I used this product with Benzac AC which was meant to peel off the skin. My skin couldn't have been better and all thanks to Clingard. However, once I came to France I had to stop usage and from time to time I can see some tiny pimples appearing which was not the case when I was using it. Pros: works well, affordable Cons: drys skin a little. results takes a little time. Bottom Line: I have cystic acne which got very infected within three weeks. My doctor gave me an antibiotic called doxycyclin for 15 days and clindamycin. I've been using it for 5 days and my skin has dramatically improved. I think getting the bacteria out of your system helps clear the skin. Clindamycin alone may be too weak for bad acne. Recommended: Yes Usage: hopeful has used this item for about a week. Pros: Solution dabs on easily. Excellent when used before a BP treatment. Cons: Clinda. gel made my skin oily but the solution, which contains alcohol kept it from getting too bad. Probably should not be used alone as an acne treatment. Bottom Line: It helps but doesnt clear acne up on its own. Recommended: Yes Usage: Amanda has used this item for a few months. Pros: works for the time being... Cons: it works short-term only. it's very possible to work up a resistance to it. Bottom Line: don't use this, there are other products on the market that will make you feel better and get better results. Pros: Worked good for the first 2 days Cons: It was working good, and i was happy. but just like other medications i've tried, the acne slowly came back in the exact same places. Made my skin very very dry and red as I kept using it. Bottom Line: Could work for you, I've read good things from some people. But if you have sensitive dry/oily skin this is not for you. Pros: Purging (if that's considered a pro!) Cons: Oily skin Bottom Line: I'm 20 years old and have been suffering from mild but persistent acne for the past few years. I also get light break-outs on various parts of my back. I've tried a slew of OTC products, none of which really gave me the results I was looking for. I finally went to a derm last week and this is the regimen she prescribed me: AM -Ovace wash (RE10 for the generic) -Cleocin T lotion (Clindamycin Phosphate 1% for generic) and Vanoxide HC lotion, which is a combo of 5% BP and 0.5% hydrocortisone -non-comedogenic moisturizer (I bought Cetaphil with SPF15 but haven't needed it yet as my face is oily from the regimen) PM -non-medicated soap (I bought Dove) -Atralin gel I've been doing this for 3 days and have noticed my face is purging out pimples, which the derm said is normal. She said as long as I stick to the regimen religiously, my skin should clear in a few months. I've been using oil-absorbing sheets to combat the oiliness. Wish me luck!!!!!
