I used Accutane once and my skin was miraculously clear for a while. Recently, I've been developing mild to moderate acne (no more cystic). The derm told me about the new blue light so I did 8 sessions for $90 each. Those of you who have tried it know how ridiculous it is. I NEVER saw improvement. I did, however, get a facial around my 5th session and I saw some improvement after that...I'm just assuming it was the facial, but it could have been a combination of the two simultaneously. If you've got money to waste, try it (esp. with the facial). If not, move on.

There is also the levulan treatment along with the blue light that totally destroys your face. It's like an acid peel. That didn't seem to work either and I was indoors for WAY too long. It's all [censored]. I'm a strong believer in Accutane...if you really wanna get rid of it.

I noticed no difference, my friends noticed no difference. The only one who saw any improvement was my doctor. Go figure.

I've receieved 4 treatments as of today... I see no improvement so far. My face, if anything, seems worse! I go back today for my 5th of 8 treatments. The worst part is around my mouth/chin area, my forehead cleared up - but its wasn't bad at all. Hopefully it will start working, it is very, very expensive!

You can read my post detailing the process. Our treatments were $100 each for eight treatments. Results were very impressive when nothing else worked. See my post:
