Clearasil Maximum Strength Acne Treatment Cream, Vanishing Reviews

I used this a few years ago and my face cleared up a lot, but for some reason I stopped using it to try other treatments. I started using Proactiv and it made my skin worse, so when I went to the doctor he prescribed benzomycin, and I was on that for a year. It worked at first, but after a few months it stopped. My prescription ran out and I didn't get it refilled and my face blew up. I started using Clearasil Ultra Acne Clearing Scrub twice a day and the cream at night, and within a week my face looks 10 times better. My skin isn't really sensitive so it doesn't hurt or burn, but if you do have sensitive skin I would only use this every other day. It contains benzoyl peroxide so it will bleach clothes and sheets. It's worth it though to have clear skin! :)

Ive been using this product inconsistantly and i have concluded its great only for MILD acne.

I only use it on small spots of cystic acne. Never on my whole face or on my cheeks. Makes them red & swell.

It's the only topical thing that works on cystic acne though and it's always apart of my acne arsenal for emergencies.

about a year ago i used this with clearasil daily face wash or equate daily face wash (wal-mart kind..... works just as well) and it made my face extreamily clear. But now it dosnt work any more snce i didnt use it for a while cuZ of dry skin, then my acne got realy bad on my forhead and chin and it wouldnt clear it up...got benzaclin it was ok but left scars and rinkles

I've been using this for a little over a week now. My face has been horrible for since April. I didnt know what to do.. I had lots of timy bumps on both sides of my face and my chin and forehead, it was really upsetting. When I started using it, I was upset that it was so chalky and dry. I applied the cream then i put my facial lotion on, but I find that mixing the bp cream and the lotion on the back of my hand works best. I put more of the bp cream on trouble areas and choose which areas I want to put the bp&lotion mixture. I use Kiehl's foming non-detergent washable cleanser for combination or oily skin and Kiehl's sodium pca oil free moisturizer. So far, its WORKING!! my face is clearing up quickly. I'm definitely impressed!

I'm 21, and this worked great for me for about 2 years. I put it on every night like a mask and only had one or two pimples at a time. This summer I started working at a dog grooming and boarding kennel and the Clearasil stopped working. I'm guessing it's because dogs shake all their oily and soapy water on me when I'm giving them baths and get the oil from their coats on my face while I'm trying to hold them still on the grooming tables.

This stuff dries out my skin and when my skin is dried it'd produce more oil. when the oil thats produced by my skin mixes with bacteria it causes me to have more acne. This thing sucks.

This product doesnt work really well, it makes my skin go red and it peels. It doesnt really make the pimples dissapear at all, I guess its just the type of skin i Have.

This stuff is great. By the end of the first day I noticed a much much improved look on my skin. If you are using the Nature's Cure vanishing cream(as I was) it's better to get Clearasil because it has twice as much BP in it. I was so mad when I looked at the active ingredient listings on both tubes, NC's was 5% BP and Clearasil's was 10% BP. Clearasil Much more powerful, but I spose everyone's reacts differently to different types of treatment.

This stuff burns. But i think it works. Sometimes I think all the acne creams and stuff don't work at all but it's some kind of partial coincidence. I give this a 3 becuase I think it might be working a little bit.
