Pros: none Cons: SEVER ACNE BREAKE OUT HYPERPIGMENT DARK UGLY SPOT ALL OVER. Bottom Line: I had a Laser Genesis Treatment in Phila. The "sales person" thats bascially what they are they dont care. she told me its a wonderful treatment my skin will glow i will look younger so i had 1 treatment 2 days later i was breaking out like a mad women i never had acne before 3 months later my face is cover with large and tiny underground pimples. i have dark ugly spot all over. i been using a salicylic acid peel its my 4th peel but my skin has not improve im so depress i look like sh*t. if anyone tried any product and it work please recommend. Pros: Fades away the red spots left by acne. I didnt have any acne,just had a mild arrhythmia. And i've gone through 3 peels uptil now. Doc recommended 6 peels[one peel/20 days]..After three peels i can say that my skin has improved by 50-60%. GO FOR IT. Cons: Burns a bit...BUT ITS WORTH....Skin becomes photo sensitive...Always have to wear a sunblock before going out. You'll have a flaky skin for some days after a peel. Bottom Line: My surgeon did microdermabrasion first and then a 60% glycolic peel........Go for a glycolic 75%/TCA 35%....Dont go above that....This is a safe limit... Pros: Got rid of Pregnancy Mask Cons: Down time, severe acne, redness, swelling, did I mention acne Bottom Line: Went in for a light TCA peel in hopes of reducing pore size and removing dark spots/preg. mask. I was told down time would be about 5 to 7 days. About day 5 my entire face broke out in acne(had never had acne) there were at least 200 spots on my face. Unsure of what was happening, called dr. office. They said I must be allergic to the antibiotic ointment and discontinue use. Another week passes and it is not anybetter, go to my dermatologist. Prescribed medication to dry up the spots. It is about 1 month later and I'm still not 100%. I don't think my skin will ever be the same. It is very red, sensitive, and still breaking out. Pros: The only thing that manages my acne prone skin- I have extractions and a B-hydroxy peel every month. I also use Mandelic acid 15% morning and night. My skin is smooth and flawless where it used to be covered in tiny pimples. Cons: My face is a bit tender after the peel- for me my face is sensitive 1-5 days depending on how severe the peel is (whether you have it done at a spa or a dermatologist). Pros: Clears up acne and reduces fine lines Cons: Results do not last Bottom Line: I had a Chemical peel (TCA/30%) last year. After four to five days of downtime, my skin did look younger and healthier. Acne, acne scars, and fine lines were reduced. However, my results were temporary. I believe this is because skin is swollen and plump after a chemical peel which visible reduces some skin imperfections. After some time, my skin returned to its original state. Would recommend this treatment if you can deal with the down time and want to temporary improve your skin for an upcoming event (party, event, etc.) Recommended: Yes Usage: NewUser has used this item for an inconsistent period of time. Pros: one of the worst treatment for acne scars Cons: dont waste ur money doing dis,it wont help @ all Bottom Line: skin wil look very nice for 3-4 days aftr treatment,but after sumdays it wil becum d same lyk before.its beter 2use any cream rather than doing such treatments,even laser treatment isnt effective.d best treatment is to use any ayurvedic cream,Dr's jst know hw 2 mint money,they dnt care whther ur skin is sensitive,hard,soft,etc,they wil jst run their machines n treatment on ur face lyk a butcher does 2 slaughter goats.trust me,its beter using any cream for scars rather than takin apointments n visiting Dr's n wasting money Recommended: No Usage: sahil has used this item for about a week. Pros: After the light redness goes away and the peeling stops, about 5 days later. Your skin looks tighter and has more of a glow, but that only lasts for a few weeks. Cons: The VI Peel didn't remove dark spots, light skin unevenness, and really didn't remove or lessen light wrinkles. Bottom Line: I have had alot cheaper vitalize peels for 150.00 and it seemed to work alot better for the money! Recommended: No Price Paid: 375.00 Acne severity: very light Was this comment helpful? Pros: i had it done today so i hope it works! Cons: burns when they put the peel on and for like an hour after..but then it starts to look and feel better.. try not to irritate or scrub your skin too much before your chemical peel cuz it burns more on the sensitive spots. Bottom Line: can't say if its gonna work yet but the doc said 90% success in clearing up acne after a few times so i really hope it does work :) he showed me a lot of before and after photos of his patients and it sold me.. so I paid $700 for 8 laser and chemical peel treatments. Pros: I have giant zits, and milia, the pimples occasionally found beneath the skin. The place i went to to get this done, was amazing. My skin looks like a baby's ass. Smooth and FLAWLESS. Cons: You eyeball becomes really dry, and you get sever headaches, and then you crave cigarettes. Bottom Line: You should get it, although.. now I've started smoking, and i have to eye drops every two hours, but other than that, my skin is my primary priority and now that, that is done i can relax :) Recommended: Yes Usage: Lumma has used this item for a day or two.
