| Pros | -gentle -doesnt foam up -doesnt dry skin that much -clears acne -smells good |
|---|---|
| Cons | -burns face first time you use it -made face breakout a little more at first -takes a while till acne starts to clear up |
| Bottom line | I have pretty bad acne, and NO PRODUCT WHAT SO EVER HELPED ME!!! but this product made me think "o ya what is this stupid cleanser gonna do???" but my mom made me use this so i dont ruin my face. She told me if i used this facewash till school started shell get me into a dermatologist. Soo ive been using this for about a week and 1/2 now and its been working pretty well! My acne isnt completley gone but i have school in 3 weeks so i hope my skin is cleared up by then :) i do reccomend this product! but be patient cuz its not a fast acting product! |

| Pros | -Doesn't clog pores -Moisturizing -Calms my skin |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Doesn't treat acne |
| Bottom line | I have moderate acne all over my face, but yet I don't have oily or dry skin. This has made for quite the time finding products. I have been in search of a gentle cleanser that doesn't dry out my skin or have any pore clogging oils in it. This was recommended as a gentle cleanser and it is the best one I've tried. I've been struggling with acne for 4 years now and have used almost every OTC product available. Out of all the products I've stuck with this one the longest. To complete my morning routine i use hydrogen peroxide all over my face to kill bacteria and a little Aveeno Calming Oil-Free lotion on the few dry spots. At night I don't use lotion and instead of hydrogen peroxide I use a 10% bp cream (Oxy). Oh and on those nasty scabbed pimples I've been using Neosporin. This routine has worked very well for me the past few months! Highly recommended:) |

| Pros | Very gentle Non-foaming (if you like that) |
|---|---|
| Cons | Burned my face Seemed to strip skin |
| Bottom line | Even before I went on Accutane, I didn't like this cleanser too much, and now that I'm on it, it burns my face when I use it. It is gentle (a lotion-y consistency) but didn't work for me. When I dried my face off, it seemed almost sticky because it seemed so stripped and bare. It might work for many, but it didn't work very well for me. |

| Pros | -gentle -cleans well -leaves skin soft -great for acne/ hyperpigmentation |
|---|---|
| Cons | -takes a while to get used to because it's like a lotion (your skin might not feel as clean or thoroughly cleansed, but go with it...the results are worth it!) -dry patches the first 3-4 days (they go away) |
| Bottom line | Cetaphil is very calming and cleans very well. I prefer the "gentle skin cleanser" because it doesn't suck all the oil off your face like the "daily facial cleanser." This is also perfect if u want to get rid of those red mark left from acne. My skin is very thin, so whenever i get a pimple, i'm left with a mark. Just try not to use make-up for a week and tone only when necessary- the marks should fade in 7-9 days. And remember to moisturize and eat lots of veggies!! The idea is to be very gentle with your skin, and if you can try to get a facial every month or so! Also try not to use that much salicylic acid or BP, cause that might irritate ur face Remember: BE GENTLE! |

| Pros | Very gentle texture Skin feel notisably cleaner after rinsing Pretty cheap for how big the bottle is |
|---|---|
| Cons | Not any really |
| Bottom line | Great product for mild acne users. Cleans skin and makes it soft. Not alot of chemicals and all that junk, so it helps prevent breakouts. Great to use if you are using a benzol peroxide spot treatment, great 1,2 punch!! |

| Pros | NONE! DON'T USE THIS WHATEVER YOU DO! |
|---|---|
| Cons | -Made my acne WORSE! -It's not a cleanser, it's a gross lotion! -It's main ingredient is water. Honestly water would do a better job. -Way to freaking expensive for acne-aggravating water in a tub. |
| Bottom line | This is TERRIBLE! My previously "light" acne which took me WEEKS to achieve, instantly disappeared after two days of using this! I swear I was like one week away from totally clear skin. Then this product (in TWO NIGHTS) made my face "moderately severe". Which is the WORST my skin has ever looked! I am devastated. This product RUINED my skin and it's going to take weeks to recover! I don't know how this happened but I KNOW it was because of Cetaphil. Please, find something else to use because this WILL. NOT. WORK! |

| Pros | Great for dry skin! Makes skin super soft! Gets rid of acne! Gentle! |
|---|---|
| Cons | It has a weird texture but you get used to it. |
| Bottom line | I had acne&dry spots all over my face so i was looking for a product that would fix both. The first time i tried it my dry spots had decrease&my acne had became less noticeable over night. Today marks a week since i bought it&i now have no dry spots, Very few pimples. I would recommend this to anyone with combination/dry skin types or people trying to get rid of their acne! |
