This cleanser works well for me. I have real sensitive skin that gets red and irritated easily and this product works well and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean.

Cetaphil is obviously not designed to be used as a make up remover. It is made for extremly sensitised skin (not necceserily spotty skin)
I have used it every morning for years, ( I use shisedo pureness at night time to remove makeup) with out any problems. IT's cheap, effective and not irritive.

This product was simply OK... It moisturizes very well however it did absolutely nothing to improve my acne.Another con to this product was its inability to remove makeup, even the lightest powder. I would only recommend this product to those who are not acne prone and who wear little or no face makeup.

My doc recommended this. However, it absolutely does not remove make up. Probably better for boys than girls. On days I don't wear make up it is fine though.
Face not clean for girls. Don't know what to recommend. Back to antibacterial soap along with minocyclin,Retin A Micro, Tri-Luma for my 44 year old arse.
Still have breakouts believe it or not. This is a war...treat it as such.

The is the perfect thing to use on days when you've got to wash your face more than you really should. We all know we shouldn't wash more than 2-3x/day but I wash more when it's hot and gross outside, when I'm cleaning or doing any type of sweaty activity. Also great in the morning. Not so great when wearing make-up or waterproof/sport sunscreen.

It works well, I put some in my hand and rub it all over my face then raise off and then dry, then you will feel clean and soft skin :)

It doesnt lather at all and it leaves a film on your face that you can rub off after drying your face with a towel. It was very inconsistent and i feel that Purpose Cleanser is much better for those with acne.

I use the Wal-Mart "Equate" version of Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser. This is the best cleanser I have found for people with dry, sensitive skin. It cleans without stripping, no itchy-dryness right after washing and drying off.
As to some of the other comments, I couldn't resist a response. This cleanser doesn't lather, which confuses most people. Lathering agents are not necessary to clean the skin, it just makes people feel cleaner. It doesn't leave a residue, it's just a very gentle cleanser that doesn't strip your skin of its natural moisture. If you need your face to feel dry and "squeaky" after washing in order to feel "clean", then you probably won't like this cleanser.

Cetaphil is great when used in conjunction with a prescription acne medication. Cetaphil is hypo-allergenic, non-comedogenic,non-alkaline, and fragrance free. Cetaphil will not dry you skin out like ordinary cleansers, yet it will moisturize dry flaky skin.

Doesn't clean, leaves a residue, made my acne worse. I guess it might work for some people, but if you don't have sensitive skin, try something else.
