Pros Everything, short ingrediant list, no menthol or other irritants, VERY gentle
Cons None
Bottom line I've tried almost every product avail at a drugstore for my acne (which is mostly self-created from picking and squeezing) and they all make my skin dry and red and aggervate my acne. But this product made a HUGE difference, particularly bc it is soo gentle- i think that some acne is caused by a reaction to all the irritants and harsh detergants and alcohols in clearisil and stuff like that, as far as I know, if I leave my skin alone it clears up by itself. Also, if you work out and want to wash your face more than twice a day this is really good bc it won't dry out your face too much and water isn't required.

Pros nice and easy, smooth and non-irritating, gentle and simple
Cons not much exfoliating power
Bottom line Nice, simple gentle cleanser. Good to use if using BP and other products because you can be sure it is not going to irritate or be in disharmony with other products. I find that less is best.

Bottom line Proven to be effective. Doesn't dry my skin. Most of the products I've been using cause my sensitive face to become red after washing but not Ceptahil. Acne lessen. <3 Will continue using this.

Pros I think it works well but i have had acne for 3 yrs now(not that server)nd i just wont get butter. This then makes me lack self-confidence nd i want to become an actor nd this doesnt help because you kinda have to have smooth clear skin to be an actor
Cons Sometimes this really does not work but when i start to see an improvment is when i eat well and healy and DRINK HEAPS OF WATER!
Bottom line I find that it will work for some types of skin but not others. When you are also trying to acheive your dream it does not help with acne but it would just depend on your skin type. I also find i have it on my back and if you see your face start to clear up then your back usually does so to all the poeple out there that are emmbarresed of wearing low back tops dont worry it will get better.

Pros Excellent. It doesn't irritate my skin at all and it leaves it feeling soft instead of dry and hard. It cleans well too; I ran out of benzoyl peroxide for several days and my skin didn't break out in the interim while using this cleanser. Even though
Cons I've never worn makeup, but my sister says it doesn't remove it completely. Some women on this forum say it works and some say it doesn't.
Bottom line Wonderful.

Pros Short ingredient list
Cons Made my face break out and my eyes gum up
Bottom line The first time I used this, my face broke out horrible. Second time, I had the break outs plus an allergic reaction in my eyes. The good news is it has only a few ingredients, so it will help me pinpoint the exact ingredient that I'm allergic to.

Pros moisturizes skin, gentle, water isn't required
Cons can't think of any (unless you need a cleanser that lathers well)
Bottom line I tried a few sensitive skin cleansers, but they all do the same thing. At first they seem gentle, but towards the end of the bottle, my face is dry and flaky if I forget to moisturize. Cetaphil does the moisturizing for me, so I don't have to worry about covering every last inch of my face with moisturizer. I always use it without water. Just gently rub it in your skin for 10-15 seconds, and tissue it off. Great for travel.

Pros Smoothign on skin, not harsh at all!
Plus, its economically affordable :)
Cons I guess its more of an acne-preventive solution than the much hoped-for of an acne-curing cleanser ...
Bottom line Gotta give it a try! I was suscribing to a local dermatologist's independant medications and started switching on the day i left for thailand on a holiday. This cleanser managed to kept me acne-free even though i was expecting some to sprout out due to the sudden change in cleanser and coupled with the humid weather in thailand. So far so good, hasnt given me any problems excepts for a few pastules (< 3) Give it a try at least and you should see quite satisfactory results pretty soon!

Pros Does not dry out skin and has greatly improved my complexion.
Cons At first the absense of foaming lather was a bit awkward, but it is easy to get over if the product helps your skin.
Bottom line Like all products Cetaphil will not work for all skin types. My skin is sensitive and prone to dryness. I tried many different products to rid myself of acne to no avai. I finally realized that my dry skin was actually the problem. I was using drying acne medications that only further dried out my skin, which made my skin produce more oil to combat the dryness, resulting in more acne.

Of course Cetaphil alone will not solve all your problems. You also need to exfoliate a few times a week. I would recommend a gentle exfoliator and if you are going to apply a topical acne treatment after washing your face follow up with some light non-greasy moisturizer. One product is not going to be your cure-all. If you wear makeup I'd also recommend wearing a tinted moisturizer vs liquid foundation or compact powder. And never wear your makeup to bed!

Also if you are interested in using Cetaphil as a makeup remover I recommend you purchase the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser.
