I think this works well in not drying out your skin. When you're using Dan's regimen and your face is constantly peeling, you want something gentle, non-irritating, and non-drying.

And it's scentless, which is a must-have for any face wash with me. I don't weak make-up so I have not had any problems with it in that area.

In the winter time, while using Retin A, the Cetaphil worked okay. I still has to use a different product to remove makeup, however. Cetaphil absolutely does not remove foundation makeup. Now that its gotten a bit warmer, I can no longer use it, as its making me break out and turned my face very oily. I think someone with very dry skin would do well with it, but if you have oily skin, FORGET IT!!

I like it. It feels kind of weird, but if u rub it on and wipe off the excess it works well. I think that, even though washing it off feels better, keeping it on makes it work better. I have oily skin and this doesn't make it any worse.

Not good for acne sufferers.
Highly recommend Cetaphil's Daily Facial Cleanser over this one as a much better cleanser for normal to oily, sensitive skin. Currently using in combination with Differin after experiencing an acne come-back at 25.

Well, being 28 and experiencing acne again since highschool, I thought this stuff would work wonders! IT didn't. I don't get the typical white pimple that you can pop and it is gone. For some reason, now I get huge red pimple like bumps that hurt and last for a week or two. Nothing so far has worked. Noxzema, Cetaphil, Mac green gel cleanser, Neutrogena, soap- nothing! I am desperate, but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for results! I think I will try purpose... We'll see. I have very oily skin after mid-day and large pores... maybe I am just our of luck...

I don't really like it, I feel as if there is a residue on my skin after I use this product. I suggest only people with dry skin, wich is not acne prone to use this.

Works well, mild cleanser. Other cleansers leave my skin feeling really dry, this one doesn't. I only notice pimples if I've been eating junk...I don't think this cleanser causes pimples.

I noticed my pimples. Even my mom who does have acne tried it and she recently notice some pimples. We are never using it again. plus it we don't like the consistency. I don't feel that it really cleans like it should.
