Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser Reviews

Excellent cleanser. Like everyone says, at first it feels like this shouldn't really be a cleanser, because it doesn't seem to strip all the moisture from your skin that I used to equate with true "cleaning". But the stuff works great, and doesn't over dry.

cetaphil is a best cleanser i've ever seen for dry/irritated skin. if i ever have a reaction to a product, i can always count on cetaphil to calm my skin down. however, it doesn't do whole lot for oiler skins.

i used ceptaphil daily facial cleaser and i think the fragrance should changed.

a lot of people complained redness and peeling of the skin after using bp for some weeks. i think it's because they are not using the right cleanser. Cetaphil is really gentle. it really calms my skin down and it never causes my skin to breakout!!

Cetaphil's not that great. After you wash your face with it, it doesn't feel clean - it actually feels dirtier.

I use Spectro Jel for Sensitive/Acne Prone skin. SpectroJel's great. Also, Spectro Jel does not contain sodium lauryl sulphate, parabens or lanolin, and I'm pretty sure Cetaphil does. Neutrogenal Deep Clean (Gel) is also nice.

I agree with other commenters that this product just doesn't seem to clean real oil/dirt very well. Yes, it feel great on irrtated skin, but I use it more first thing in the morning than in the afternoon to get my face clean. I think it's probably better for those with dry skin than oily skin.

I have easily irritable skin, so Cetaphil cleaser is perfect! It makes my skin SO soft, and because it doesn't irritate it helps my skin to heal. Medicated products are rubbish! Go for the basic/sensitive skin products instead, the ones with very little ingredients. I'm yet to find a good moisturiser though.

I like this cleanser, but need to use it several times to remove all makeup.

I once tried this product to compare it with the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser and I didn't like it at all. After washing with it, my face felt greasy, waxy, and not fully clean. My breakouts appeared to get worse while using this product. I would recommend buying the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, which I love.

I used this product and it didn't work very well for my skin, because it left it feeling greasy (and I detoxed like someone said on here). My sister can use it and her face looks really good, but it might be that she has a skin problem (excema), and I just have normal to oily skin.
