| Bottom line | This is without a doubt the best cleanser I've ever used, and believe me, I've tried them all! I went to the dermatologist at age 15 with horrible acne and he recommended I use this as a starter for any kind of "regimen". I've noticed that nobody else has mentioned that this stuff CAN be used without water. It works just as well for me, I just towel it off. It's GREAT for eye makeup removal, but as for face makeup, well... wear non-comedogenic makeup! Love it. Word of advice: Buy the generic brand (Equate, Walgreen's, CVS). It's cheaper and works just the same. |

| Bottom line | I really love this cleanser, but at the same I find that it's almost too gentle for me. It doesn't remove makeup or surface gunk as well as I'd like, but I'm sure it would be fine for somebody that doesn't wear makeup. However, it's FANTASTIC for removing eye makeup! It doesn't sting, and it works so much better than the oil-based removers. Too bad it doesn't work as well for foundation. So, if you want a *really* gentle cleanser, and I mean gentle, then I think Cetaphil would be perfect for you. Especially if you have sensitive skin. |

| Pros | It USED to be a decent product as it did not contain SLS. I used to use this product but the ingredients seem to have changed right along with the packaging. |

| Cons | Contains a lot of irritating ingredients: Propylene Glycol and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate are both known toxic skin irritants. This product also contains a bunch of parabens. My skin reacted big time! |
| Bottom line | Ingredients: Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Stearyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben. Cetaphil used to "brag" on it's old packaging that it was "Sodium Lauryl Sulfate" free and now it is the fourth ingredient on the list. How a product can brag to be "gentle" yet contain so many harmful and irritating ingredients is beyond me. Google all the ingredients and see for yourself. |

| Bottom line | VERRY suitable for sensitive (allergic reaction) skin and acne prone skin. Also good for people who do not feel brave enought o use cleanser due to all the chemicals included. Cetaphil is cheap n feels natural. haha feels like im doing a commercial lol i bought the 500ml pump pack cetaphil gentle skin cleanser for $10 at chemist warehouse btw <3 |

| Bottom line | I've been using this product for a decade, since I first had minor breakouts as a teenager. Back then, I tried products by brands such as Neutrogena and Dermalogica, and Cetaphil kicked all their asses. I'm still using it, and my skin is doing great. I've had problems getting some people to use the product because they *think* it doesn't feel clean, but that's precisely why it's effective! When skin gets that "squeaky-clean" feel, it's already stripped, which can irritate skin even more. Some people also don't like Cetaphil because it does not foam and has no fragrance -- but again, that's why it works. Foaming agents and fragrance can dry and irritate skin. Lastly, please, no complaints about how it does not remove make-up. Cetaphil was never intended as a make-up remover, especially since a lot of make-up now is made to be tough to remove. Use make-up remover if you use make-up! I really want people to try this because it's worked so well for me! :) |

| Cons | If your skin is really oily it won't take all the oil away, although package says its meant for normal to oily skin its more for normal skin I find. |
| Bottom line | This product didn't work that great for me. My skin is very oily so when i used cetaphil it took away most of the oil, but my skin was oily 15 min later. The container is great because you just twist it and it locks so you don't accidently squirt it on your clothes. Its very mild so if your easily irritated by washes and have normal skin this product is worth trying out. |
