| Pros | Gentle, non-irritating Cheap Rinses easily no smell |
|---|---|
| Cons | ? |
| Bottom line | I like this product because it isn't harsh and rinses easily. It doesn't have a smell and isn't drying to the face. I've been washing my face with this this Cetaphil for a while and I do like it. |

| Pros | Soap Free Non-comedogenic Gentle Cheap |
|---|---|
| Cons | It is a very gentle cleanser, therefore does not remove make up effectively in one wash. You need to wash your face twice, using the cleanser to remove all traces of make up. |
| Bottom line | I started to use this cleanser when I was using Duac and Differin topicals, which were extremely drying. I read the Cetaphil reviews on acne.org and decided to buy the gentle skin cleanser and the moisturising lotion. I love using the Cetaphil cleanser; it cleans and leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth. I also think it has helped stop further acne breakouts. I was using various brand spot washes, which I think stripped my skin, which caused my skin to produce more oil and breakout. My skin has now cleared up thanks to Duac, Differin and Cetaphil. I’m now using the Cetaphil cleanser and moisturiser lotion twice a day and occasionally Differin at night to stop new breakouts. I also use a gentle no-alcohol toner (brand I use is Simple) after I use the cleanser to refresh and tone my skin. Cetaphil is made by Galderma which is the same brand that produces Differin, so it is a brand you can trust for dermatological excellence. The cleanser is relatively cheap, so it worth giving it a go and seeing if it works for you. |

| Pros | Completely non-drying Light Skin feels clean after use |
|---|---|
| Cons | Doesn't treat blackheads |
| Bottom line | Since I first got breakouts in early high school, I've been trying what seems like hundreds of products to help my sensitive skin. Nothing ever seemed to work! Cetaphil was always a product I came back to when my face was recovering from the damage other cleansers had done. I highly recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin. In fact, I really do recommend it to anyone. I know we can't have everything but I would love it if it helped with blackheads too. Great cleanser though! It'll be the only cleanser I use for everyday use - morning and night. Ps: I buy the 1litre pump bottle as it's lasts for a few months and is a great price! |

| Pros | Smells good. Non-irritating |
|---|---|
| Cons | I haven't really found any yet. |
| Bottom line | I have been usuing this product for about a week now and I like it. It has sort of helped reduce the redness of my acne but it has not really got rid of many pimples/ whiteheads yet...only a few. Another good thing it leaves my skin feeling clean. |

| Pros | Leaves skin feeling clean Easy to use pump bottle |
|---|---|
| Cons | None so far! But some don't like the texture, mostly the fact that it doesnt lather. Which doesnt bother me in the slightest. |
| Bottom line | Only been using this for a week or so, so I cant say it has changed my acne, but I can tell you that my skin feels clean!! It also doesnt irritate my skin, like most cleansers normally would. I was reading these reviews before i bought it, the funniest one said "its like jizz on your face! Buy it! "This was a comment on the texture.....that speaks for itself. Thanks whoever wrote that, I laughed so hard.... |

| Pros | It's very gentle and it doesn't irritate skin. Cleanses your face. |
|---|---|
| Cons | It may cleanse your face, but it doesn't not heal acne. Think of this cleanser as a moisturizing cleanser, not an acne wash. |
| Bottom line | If you simply want softer skin, this is good. If you are trying to get rid of acne, this will have no effect- maybe even worsen. |

| Pros | very gentle on skin moisturizing inexpensive doesn't break me out. |
|---|---|
| Cons | does not remove makeup doesn't foam up, so it really won't remove much dirt |
| Bottom line | i really like this product as my morning gentle cleanser, but i don't use it at night becuase it is horrible at removing makeup and dirt buildup from the day. i have naturally dry skin, so i need to keep my cleansers gentle and smooth. it leaves my skin soft, and its very refreshing. the consistency is water-like. not thick. |

| Pros | -NONE! |
|---|---|
| Cons | -drys out the skin -caused skin to feel so tight -wrinkles appeard due to dryness -caused horrible breakout -makes my skin feel so itchy |
| Bottom line | This may be a great product for some, but for me this was one of the WORST products I have used for my face! In combination with the lotion the two have caused so much damage that no other product has caused on my face! I started using the product after reccomendation from my derma, and the first couple of days liked the product - apart from the dryness there was no obvious problems. The more I used the product over the week the worse my problems got - my skin started to feel tighter and so dry and a few wrinkles started to appear. After a week of application I woke up to a PURPLE face and a face full of whiteheads!!!! After through investigation I realised it was the cetaphil products and I must have had some sort of severe reaction to them! A week now since I have stopped using it and my face is not the same - its so sensitive! I feel so itchy - must have been an allergic reaction to something their products contain! Never again - I really dont reccomend this product at all - yuck! |
