Pros: gentle, fragrance-free, non-drying Cons: doesn't lather, Bottom Line: I used Neutrogena oil-free acne wash and it literally caused me to break out. Pros: Made my skin really soft, blackhead free. I tend to get pimples and redness in my cheeks and my forehead. This has really helped. Cons: None. Bottom Line: Right now i am using Dalacin T solution twice a day, leave it on for two hours, then wash with the Cetaphil. After rinse it off i put on MetroGel. I have been doing this for a couple months and it has really seemed to keep my acne undercontrol. I still breakout but not very heavily. I have seen very good results lately as i just switched to the Cetaphil a week ago. Before that i was using SpectroGel and i felt that it actually prevented my skin from clearing up. Pros: -Makes skin smoother, calm, not as red -Somewhat gentle -Not expensive Cons: -Kind of drying -Clogs pores -Doesn't really take care of acne Bottom Line: I have used Cetaphil for about 3 years, with the recommendation from my dermatologist. It really calmed my skin and made it smooth, but 3 years I realized that this stuff makes my pores enlarged, but I have found a product that takes care of it, which is Purpose. Sometimes, my make up was left on since the cetaphil didn't wash it off thoroughly and it made me break out sometimes (but minor) However, I recommend this product for those who don't wear much make up :) FYI - I have very sensitive, somewhat dry skin that breaks out very easily! :( Recommended: Yes Acne severity: light Was this comment helpful? Pros: Clean, clear, soft, beautiful acne free skin. Smells great too! Cons: - Bottom Line: I have been battling breakouts now for about a year - and I'm 26 years old! I have felt like I'm going through puberty again. Anyway - I have tried everything from Proactiv, to Murad, to Dermtalogix - nothing has cleared up my skin. I read the reviews on this website for Cetaphil and thought I'd give it a shot - and I'm so glad I did. It has worked miracles in just days! I can tell my skin is softer and haven't broke out again. I simply cleanse with the Cetaphil, use a gentle toner after to get the excess make-up off and then use a product with some salicylic acid on troublesome spots - VOILA! It's been working great! Pros: The best cleanser I ever used and everyone should use it. It is so mild (everyone need a mild cleanser) and cleanse well. My skin become softer and looks great. Cons: it's too good to be true! Pros: realll gentle on my skin, fragrance free & reduced the size of my pimples! cheap as Cons: none. Bottom Line: the great things bout cetaphil is that its realll gentle on my teen skin (im only 12!) and its fragrance free, it reduced the size of my pimples! and my skin is problaly on the verge of being clear :] BUT ive only been using it for 3 days then after cleansing i use cetaphils moisturizing lotion and i use 100% lavender oil as a spot treatment after wards. hope i helped ya!
