I’m having great success with jojoba oil as are most of the people who rate it here on Acne.org, so I thought it warranted another mention. I will probably talk about it regularly on the blog. That’s how great I think it is. I mention in the video how you can use it in your moisturizer, but there are lots of other uses for jojoba oil. You can also check out more videos of me playing around with it here.
I’m doing a bunch of research on topics that relate to women and acne, such as premenstrual acne, pregnancy and acne, birth control, makeup, spironolactone, and cyproterone acetate. It’s fascinating stuff. The human body is an incredible thing, and so complex.
Hey you guys. I’m a little concerned that people are asking how well Accutane works for less severe forms of acne. Accutane is only approved for severe acne, and I think for good reason. It is a very powerful drug and in my opinion should be reserved for severe cases which do not respond to topical treatment. If it were me, I would try the Regimen first and follow it precisely and get cleared up that way. The exception would be if I had an extreme form of heavily scarring acne on my face, neck, and body. Perhaps in that case I would directly consider Accutane. I want to see you guys all happy and healthy for years to come. Please consider your options carefully.
Check out the new Accutane pages.
I’m doin’ a bunch of research on acne and ethnic skin–which basically includes everyone in the world. But still, there are differences in skin depending on where your ancestors are from. Most notably are the red spots or dark spots that are left behind after active acne lesions heal. These red spots or dark spots are called post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
The fascinating debate Continues…
I’m moving forward with the spot treatment. I’ll keep you guys posted on it as we go.
Also, I’ve been researching all things related to Accutane, suicide and depression. It’s pretty fascinating research, albeit inconclusive at this point.
