Acne.org has a new logo. We paid a logo design company $90,000 to make it. Haha. Kidding. We designed it ourselves. What do you guys think?

Also, we redesigned the store. Kent’s friend Dominick let us use his professional photo studio in LA to shoot the products. I think they came out incredible. Also, the design of the new cart should make it friendlier to navigate. It might take a minute to get used to, but hopefully you guys will enjoy it.

I love how crisp and clean and glowy the new product images look! The whole redesign is pretty sharp. : )

The icon looks like a sideway smiley shield. Lol. Or an arrow pointing at a zit. I’m not sure what it is XD But the new product pictures look so fancy and nice.

What was the old logo? A little blue circle dude right? I kinda liked that but the website refresh is awesome. It looks even more professional. Its awesome.

Dan, I think the new store looks incredible. The products look high grade as well. Great job. Two suggestions though:

1.) The “single products” area is a small tab that may be hard to see for a new user who might wonder if they can get the products individually instead of together.

2.) Is there a way to jump back to acne.org with one click? In the old store it was easy, in this one I couldn’t find a link.

But overall, it is great! It’s awesome that you continue to improve acne.org.

awesome, i can’t wait to try the licochalcone. i love the new logo and the store, though i have to say i was used to the old one, and i think the buttons fly around in the new one a lot, but maybe it’s just me and it’s because i’m in a hurry right now. hope you release even more awesome products. keep up the awesome

I really like the pictures of the products. Looks really professional. The logo is okaay, I think you guys can do a lot better though.

I also reallyyy wish you guys would find a name for your product rather just just putting acne.org on all your bottles. I hate when people come in my bathroom and see all this stuff that says Acne.org on it.

I also hate when people ask me what I have used that made my skin so clear and I say the Acne.org regimen. It just sounds unprofessional.

Hey DAN! I looked at your recommended products page, and you have recommended alternative BP (NOTS), cleansers, and SPF (classic Olay), but you forgot to put down your old alternative moisturizers! All you put down was tips on picking one, not dan-approved alternatives like Cetaphil and whatnot. Please put those in!

    Hi Dan,
When you said you paid 90, 000 I was like “holy heck”!!! I’m glad it was just a joke! haha.

Just wanted to let you know that I love the new additions to your page. The store looks great and I really like how crisp the new photos of your products turned out. Just wanted to let you know though that a few areas of the page look weird on my mac (fonts don’t line up etc) Not sure if it’s a mac thing or what the deal is. Just thought I would let you know! :)

Dan – Love the new store setup! The tabs and links all arranged on top look great – as well as the professional photos of the products AND the medical shield on the top of the page/banner! Love it! I agree though – I couldn’t find a direct link BACK to acne.org from the store. I ended up having to click your picture (About Me) to get back to the acne.org page!

To those of you who asked about how to get back to Acne.org from the store page, just click on the Acne.org logo in the header. ; )

Looks great! I really like the work you’ve done on the site, especially the regimen page and the product pages. The new navigation is really nice in the store and the caduceus is a nice touch for the medical feeling. The one thing I don’t prefer is the new logo. It’s an arrow pointing to a dot, which looks in context like an arrow pointing to a zit, given your brand/ brand name. If I were you, I would want a logo that focuses on the benefit–clear skin–rather than the problem! An abstract logo like the colored squares was good, too.
